Indicated for men and women suffering from external trauma or internal injury, dog bites, insect stings, kicks from donkeys, falls from horses, fractures of the hands and feet, and all kinds of pain, including abdominal and cardiac pain, left-sided hemiplegia with right-sided flaccidity (Zuo Tan You Huan), migratory pain, carbuncles, swellings, hemorrhoids, and fistulas. Take disordered hair (Luan Fa) (washed clean with soapberry water, two jin [approx. 1 kg], dried in the sun). Use two jin of pure sesame oil, place it in a pot, and stir-fry the hair frequently, checking by hand until the hair becomes crisp and paste-like.
Take horn thorns (Jiao Ci) (select those with thick arms, carbonize them into powder).

Grind the above six ingredients into powder, add to Rhubarb and Frankincense Paste (Ruxiang Gao), and pound/stir three thousand times. Form pills the size of a bullet. If there is insufficient Ruxiang Gao, add more vinegar-boiled wheat flour paste. For severe pain, take one pill per dose; for mild cases, take half a pill. Take with one zhan [approx. 200ml] of unadulterated wine and a bean-sized piece of frankincense. First grind the frankincense until dissolved, then grind the pill until dissolved, boil for three to five boils, and take warm before going to bed. Lie down so that the painful area rests on the bed. To induce sweating, cover with clothes and blankets, and apply the medicine to abraded areas. Avoid all wind-aggravating foods. For women's diseases, add one qian [approx. 3g] of Angelica Sinensis Powder (Danggui Mo) and decoct/take according to the method. Pregnant women must not take this.
[Yulong Gao (Jade Dragon Ointment)]
Functions to dispel wind and relieve pain, reduce swelling and resolve toxicity. Indicated for all types of traumatic injuries, sores, and swellings.
Take Trichosanthes Fruit (Gualou) (one large fruit, peel removed) Yellow Beeswax (Huangla) (one liang and half) Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi) (cleaned, cut into small pieces, half liang) Sesame Oil (MAYOU) (pure, six liang).
[Note: The original text appears incomplete here, mentioning Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma) and Huang (possibly Huangqi or Huanglian) without full processing instructions.]
Soak the above ingredients in oil for seven days, then strain the oil. Refine the oil until fragrant, let it cool, then add the other herbs. Simmer over low heat until yellow, filter through silk cloth to remove dregs. Pour into a silver or stone pot, add beeswax, Musk (Shexiang), and Pine Resin (Songzhi). Boil briefly, then store in a porcelain container. Apply a small amount thinly spread on silk cloth for external application. For wind-pruritus on the head and face, sores, swellings, and pain, apply and rub until warm, using frequently. For polyps in the ears or nose (Rou Ling), apply daily with a paper wick; cure within one month. For treating moxibustion sores and pediatric pustular eruptions, applying this can eliminate scars, with miraculous efficacy.
