For all the above diseases, take one he of child's urine, add three to five drops of fresh ginger juice into the urine, warm it, and dissolve three pills to take orally, with miraculous effects. It also treats accumulation of heat in the heart and lungs, vomiting due to latent heat, evil qi attacking the heart, wind constipation of the large intestine, trance-like state of soul and spirit, dizziness of head and eyes, restlessness (text implies mental instability), dryness of lips and mouth, delirious speech due to cold damage; all are treated.
Raw Rhinoceros Horn powder (ground) Cinnabar (ground and washed) Realgar (ground and washed) Raw Eretmochelys imbricata (Hawksbill Turtle Shell) powder (ground) Amber (ground, each one tael)
Musk (ground, half a tael)
Boiled into paste),
Formed into dosage forms, stored in non-leaking containers, and rolled into pills... (Text is garbled, implying mixing powder with paste to form pills)
Sudden attack by guest malevolence, insomnia, restlessness, wind...
(This formula has three names: one is Guiming Dan [Return-to-Life Pill], another is Fanhun Dan [Revive Soul Pill]; the one containing Mangxiao [Mirabilite] is called Poguwan Dan [Coffin-Breaking Pill]). Treats stroke with numbness and insensitivity of hands and feet, slurred speech. Or pain radiating to bone marrow, or bi-syndrome invading skin, itching like insects crawling, stubborn bi-syndrome feeling like iron or stone; or excessive phlegm and sleepiness; or forgetfulness and irritability, (qi and blood) stagnation, emaciated muscles; or long confinement to bed, requiring assistance to rise, slurred speech with puffy face, only feeling unwell; or occasional suffering from sudden acute illness, all are treated.

For the above four ingredients, use a lidded porcelain bottle. First, lay three sheets of gold foil at the bottom, then add sulfur, cover with two more sheets of gold foil. Next, add Realgar, cover with two sheets of gold foil. Then add Cinnabar, cover with two sheets of gold foil. Then add Pyrite, cover with three sheets of gold foil. Seal the bottle lid without using mud sealant. Place the bottle steadily in an ash pit and nurture with fire for three days and nights. On the first day, use half a tael of roasted charcoal fire, keeping it three cun away from the bottle. On the second day, use ten liang of roasted fire, keeping it two and a half cun away. On the third day, use one jin of fire, keeping it two cun away, until the fire burns out. After cooling, remove the medicine from the bottle, wrap it in three layers of paper, bury it in clean wet soil until the next morning, take it out, and grind it finely again.
