[Jinye Dan (Golden Liquid Pill)]
It can consolidate the True Qi, warm the Dantian (Lower Abdomen), strengthen the sinews and bones, tonify the Yang pathway, dispel chronic cold and stubborn cold pathogens, and supplement deficiency and damage caused by overwork. It treats accumulation of cold in the kidneys and loins in men, cold masses under the hypochondrium, various intestinal parasites, spermatorrhea, urinary incontinence, emaciation and weakness, pain and weakness in the feet and knees, stubborn bi-syndrome caused by cold wind, rebellious Qi, epistaxis (nosebleed), alternating chills and fever, cholera with muscle cramps, and deficiency-type diarrhea or difficult defecation. It also treats hemorrhoids, sores caused by dampness, and continuous hematochezia (blood in stool). Furthermore, it treats blood stasis with alternating chills and fever in women due to cold pathogens.

Take one tael of the above powder, mix with one tael of steamed dough cake soaked in hot water, squeezed dry, kneaded into pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take thirty pills per dose, up to one hundred pills, swallowed with warm rice drink, taken on an empty stomach. It also treats Yin syndrome of Cold Damage, characterized by cold body, faint pulse, cold limbs, vomiting or diarrhea, spontaneous sweating or cessation of sweating, or urinary incontinence. It treats long-standing deficiency and accumulated cold, causing heart and abdominal pain, vomiting of phlegm and clear fluid, reduced appetite, distension in the hypochondriac region, tightness and tension around the umbilicus and abdomen, deficiency-type loose stools, frequent urination, emaciated skin, sallow complexion, lethargy of limbs, and weakness of waist and knees. It also treats masses and accumulations, rebellious Qi with cough, intestinal wind, and hemorrhoids. For women, it treats cold deficiency of the Blood Sea, red and white leukorrhea, and infertility for a long time. All are suitable for taking this pill.

Take twenty pills per dose, swallow with warm wine on an empty stomach; salt water is also acceptable.
