Grind genuine *Sappanwood* (Caesalpinia Sappan L.) into an extremely fine powder and sprinkle it between the severed fingers. After reattachment, bind firmly with a silkworm cocoon externally; it will return to normal after a few days. Alternatively, chew old ginger until soft and apply it, then wrap with old cotton, which is also excellent.
Use a large amount of *Triticum aestivum* (Wheat), boil in water, filter the juice, and let it cool completely. Have the patient lie on a mat, hold the juice in their mouth, and spray it onto their back; the intestines will gradually retract. When initially spraying, do not let the patient know, and avoid having many people talk nearby. If the intestines have not yet fully retracted, lift the four corners of the mat and gently shake them, and they will enter automatically. Once retracted, suture using thread moistened with sesame oil, and bind securely with moist cloth. Be careful not to startle the patient to prevent the wound from bursting open again.
Immediately administer hot urine. Then, take five sheng of clean yellow soil, crush it, steam it in a steamer until hot, wrap it in multiple layers of old cloth, and apply as a warm compress to the injured area several times. Do not make it too hot to avoid damaging the skin and flesh. Alternatively, blow powder of *Pinellia ternata* (Banxia, 半夏) into both nostrils, administer ginger juice, and then give a mixture of white sugar and water or add child's urine for administration.
Drink one bowl of hot urine, and recovery will be immediate.
Mash fresh Chinese chives (*Allium tuberosum*, Jiucai, 韭菜) and apply as a poultice.
Mix one cup of pure sesame oil with one pot of wine, drink until thoroughly intoxicated, then cover with thick blankets and sleep to induce sweating (in winter, heat the blankets before sleeping).
Pound fresh ginger and scallion whites together, mix with flour, stir-fry until hot, and apply as a warm compress. If pain occurs with warm compression, use *Gardenia jasminoides* (Zhizi, 栀子) and white flour stir-fried until hot for application. For cyanosis and swelling, apply slices of raw tofu; alternatively, pounding *Rhoicissus tridentata* (Qingzhi, 青枳 - note: likely refers to a local herb or typo for Qingpi/Zhishi, but literal translation used) and white flour into a paste is also excellent.
Take powder of raw *Rhizoma Rhei* (Dahuang, 大黄), mixed with ginger juice for oral administration.
Apply powder of raw *Pinellia ternata* (Banxia, 半夏) mixed with water. Or, take a slice of raw pork, sprinkle powdered *Angelica sinensis* (Danggui, 当归) and *Lithopse* (Chishizhi, 赤石脂) onto the meat, and apply as a patch. Or, use old pumpkin (called "wogua" in the North), mash the pulp into a thick paste for application, wrap well with cloth, do not move it, and replace when dry. (This also treats prolapsed eyeballs or eye injuries from cannon fire).
No bandaging required; one dose leads to immediate cure.
Take bricks from an old urine bucket or urine pit, calcine them seven times over fire, and grind into powder (5 fen). Take one ancient coin (Kaiyuan Tongbao is especially good), smelt it seven times over fire, soak in vinegar seven times, and grind into powder (1 qian). Mix evenly, and take 3 fen with yellow wine for immediate effect. If taken more than 1 li, a branch of bone will grow.
