此药极奇。叶石林游山,见一小寺颇整洁,学徒亦众,问僧所以仰给者,答云素无田产,
亦不苦求于人,只货数药以赡,其间脾疼药最流布。有诗云∶

Verse says:
Jianghuang (Curcumae Longae Rhizoma) together with Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma);
Ruxiang (Olibanum) combined with Moyao (Myrrha);
Use one cup of good wine;
Heart pain feels as if grasped by hand. (Another method uses water decoction)
Grind the above herbs, each in equal proportions, into powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Take at any time, mixed with warm wine.
This medicine is extremely effective. Ye Shilin, while touring mountains, saw a small temple that was quite clean, with many students. He asked the monks how they sustained themselves. They replied that they had no land and did not beg others, but only sold a few medicines to support themselves. Among them, the medicine for Spleen pain was most widely circulated. There is a poem:
Caoguo (Amomi Fructus Rotundus) and Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma);
Yunzhi (possibly Yunmu or specific local herb) and Moyao (Myrrha).
Mix with wine, take 1-2 qian;
It feels as if the pain has been picked away by hand. (Another formula includes Ruxiang/Olibanum)
Grind the above herbs, each in equal proportions, into a fine powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Take at any time, swallowed with warm wine.
