In Changzhou, a patient surnamed Wei went to Ganlu Temple in Jingkou to hold a Water-Land Dharma Assembly. He moored his boat under the shore and dreamed that a monk offered him a bowl of soup. After drinking it, he still remembered its fragrance and felt instantly relieved. The next morning, he entered the temple and found that the soup served by the attendant was exactly what he had drunk in his dream, bringing even greater relief to his chest and diaphragm. He then requested the prescription from the monk. After taking dozens of doses, his illness was cured. This formula was called Guanyin Yingmeng San (Guanyin's Dream-Responding Powder). I obtained this formula and often used it to entertain guests, renaming it Ganlu Tang (Sweet Dew Decoction). It cured one person in Linting immediately. Do not neglect it.
