In cases where postpartum patients suddenly experience faintness, sweating, and inability to recognize people, this is due to sudden deficiency. Break three chicken eggs and swallow them; consciousness will return. If not awakened, administer one sheng of urine from a healthy young boy, which is very effective. Urine from a healthy man is also acceptable, but urine from a sick person must strictly be avoided.
Furthermore, if the patient remains unconscious for a long time or experiences recurrent episodes, this indicates the presence of wind pathogen. This occurs because blood and qi are suddenly deficient after childbirth, allowing wind to circulate within the meridians. If there was excessive blood loss during childbirth, exacerbating this condition, and egg consumption fails to restore consciousness, urgently prepare Zhuli (Bamboo Sap) and administer five he. If symptoms persist after a short while, administer another five he. Frequent administration of three to five doses will lead to recovery.
