This is due to cold qi accumulating internally before delivery, causing improper movement of the bladder during childbirth. Fill salt into the umbilicus of the parturient woman until level with the navel. Then peel the coarse skin off scallion whites, bundle more than ten stalks together, cut them to the thickness of one finger, place them on the salt, fill with large moxa cones the size of a scallion pancake, and moxibustion with fire. When heat sensation penetrates directly into the abdomen, urination will immediately flow freely; this divine efficacy cannot be fully described. (From *Chanlu Ji*)
