Feishi (Flying Corpse) is a pathogenic factor that wanders through the skin, penetrates the zang-fu organs, and causes stabbing pain upon each attack, with unpredictable changes; Dunshi (Lurking Corpse) attaches to the bones and muscles, attacks the blood vessels, and makes it impossible for others to approach the patient during an attack, which is triggered by witnessing funerals or hearing weeping; Fengshi (Wind Corpse) invades the four limbs, causing loss of sensation regarding the location of pain, and leads to drowsiness upon each attack, worsening in wind and snow weather; Chenshi (Sinking Corpse) entangles the bones and knots in the viscera, rushing to the heart and hypochondrium, causing severe twisting pain upon each attack, triggered by cold weather; Zhushi (Injecting Corpse) causes heaviness of the whole body, mental confusion, and a constant feeling of fainting and disability, often turning into a severe malignant condition at solar term transitions. All these conditions are suitable for this prescription: Cut several jin of Honeysuckle Leaf (Jinyinhua Ye), boil until thick, extract the juice, and decoct it into pills. A person who is usually healthy suddenly appears like a dead person, motionless, silent, unaware of surroundings, eyes closed and unable to open, jaw clenched and unable to speak. Or slightly aware but averse to human voices, only feeling dizzy and confused, waking up after some time. This is due to excessive sweating leading to blood deficiency, with qi merging into blood, yang rising alone without descending, causing qi stagnation and blockage, thus the body seems dead. When qi passes and blood returns, yin and yang reconnect, hence waking up after some time. This symptom is called Yumao (Depression and Dizziness), also known as Xuejue (Blood Syncope). It is common in women, and Baiwei Tang (Veronicastrum Decoction) and Cang Gong San (Cang Gong Powder) are suitable.
