The **Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian** (Shou Tai Yin Fei Jing) originates in the Middle Jiao (Middle Burner), descends to connect with the Large Intestine, returns to follow the stomach opening, ascends through the diaphragm, and enters into the Lungs. From the lung system (trachea and larynx connected to the lungs), it emerges horizontally from below the axilla, descends along the medial aspect of the upper arm, anterior to the Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian and Hand-Jueyin Pericardium Meridian, descends into the elbow, follows the medial aspect of the forearm along the lower border of the radius, enters the Cun Kou (pulse-taking area at the radial artery), ascends to the Yu Ji (Thenar eminence), and exits at the tip of the thumb. Its branch diverges from the wrist (Lieque point), goes straight to the medial side of the index finger, exits at its tip, and connects with the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian.

Its main trunk descends from the supraclavicular fossa along the medial aspect of the breast, descends alongside the umbilicus, and enters the Qi Jie (inguinal region). Another branch originates from the lower stomach, descends within the abdomen, and meets the main trunk at the Qi Jie. It then descends to Bi Guan, reaches Fu Tu, descends to the patella, follows the lateral aspect of the tibia, descends to the dorsum of the foot, and enters the space between the toes of the middle finger. Its main trunk returns from the Heart System, ascends to the Lungs, descends to emerge from below the axilla, follows the posterior medial aspect of the upper arm, posterior to the Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian and Hand-Jueyin Pericardium Meridian, descends into the medial elbow, follows the posterior medial aspect of the forearm, reaches the end of the ulnar styloid process, enters the posterior medial palm, follows the medial aspect of the little finger, exits at its tip, and connects with the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian.
The **Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian** (Shou Taiyang Xiao Chang Jing) originates at the tip of the little finger, follows the lateral aspect of the hand, ascends to the wrist, emerges from the ulnar styloid process, goes straight up along the lower lateral border of the ulna, emerges between the two tendons at the medial elbow, follows the posterior lateral aspect of the upper arm, emerges from the shoulder joint, winds around the scapula, crosses on the shoulder, enters the supraclavicular fossa, connects with the Heart, follows the pharynx, descends through the diaphragm, reaches the Stomach, and enters into the Small Intestine. Its branch ascends from the supraclavicular fossa along the neck to the cheek, reaches the outer canthus, enters the ear. Another branch diverges from the cheek, ascends to the infraorbital region, reaches the nose, arrives at the inner canthus, and obliquely connects with the zygomatic bone, connecting with the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian.
The **Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian** (Zu Taiyang Pang Guang Jing) originates at the inner canthus, ascends to the forehead, and crosses at the vertex. Its branch goes from the vertex to the superior angle of the ear.
