One method for treating "eggplant disease" (vegetative growths or polyps) in the female genital opening. Take eggplants, crush them, decoct with water, and wash the affected area. If the growth is protruding externally, wrap a castor bean (Ricini Semen) in a silk thread. Have two people hold both ends of the thread, and rub the castor bean against the base of the growth. Then, tie the silk thread tightly around the upper part of the toxic growth. After one night, it will fall off naturally. For growths bound to the side of the genital opening, use the same method, also washing with eggplant decoction. If the growth is internal, decoct dried alum (Alumen) together with eggplants and wash with the solution.
Another discussion on female eggplant disease. The cause is lifting heavy objects before the postpartum confinement period is complete, leading to the prolapse of the bladder. Red or purple growths are treatable; white ones are not.
