The *Yangsheng Fang* (Prescriptions for Nourishing Life) states: If a husband and wife engage in litigation or dispute, and the resentment is not resolved, forcing sexual intercourse will cause the Zizang (uterus) to become obstructed. Qi and blood stagnate and form knots, leading to disease, eventually resulting in "Lou Xia" (metrorrhagia/leukorrhea), where yellowish-white discharge resembling paste flows from the vagina.
**Condition of Amenorrhea Leading to Infertility.**
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: If one hastily wears tight garments or lifts heavy objects when young or immediately after childbirth, the Yin organs may prolapse. This may cause menstrual flow to deviate and fail to discharge properly, accompanied by severe pain in the vagina and coldness in the lower region. This condition renders a woman infertile.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: Engaging in sexual intercourse before menstruation has completely ceased allows spermatic essence to enter the interior. This disrupts the regularity of menstruation and leads to the formation of internal accumulations (masses), causing sterility and preventing future pregnancy and lactation.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: After eating hot food and sweating, if the breasts are exposed to wind, breast swelling often occurs. This is called "Chui Ru" (blown breast), which frequently develops into an abscess.
The *Yangsheng Fang Daoyin Fa* (Guiding and Pulling Prescriptions for Nourishing Life) states: Sit with legs spread wide (ji ju). Insert both hands from inside the bent knees, place palms on the ground, bend the legs further so they rest above the hands, and lift the hips. This method can be used to circulate Qi and cure scrofula and breast swelling/pain. Cross the legs, insert both hands from the bent knees to grasp the ankles, and repeat this movement twelve times. This also cures scrofula and breast swelling/pain.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: During pregnancy, urination and defecation should not be performed in remote or inconvenient locations; otherwise, it will inevitably lead to dystocia and death.
It also states: There are three gates below the Dai Mai (Girdle Vessel): one is the Baomen (Womb Gate); two is the Longmen (Dragon Gate); three is the Yumen (Jade Gate). Postpartum bleeding belongs to the Baomen, caused by injury to the uterine collaterals during delivery.
It also states: While the fetus is in the womb, if the mother excessively consumes cold substances, cold Qi enters the Bao (uterus), causing the fetus to become cold. After birth, the infant tends to suffer from abdominal pain and refuses to suckle milk. This is called Tai Han (Fetal Cold), also known as Nan Ru (Difficulty in Lactation/Nursing).
