It is also said: When the tips of the ten fingers feel a prickling pain that penetrates to the heart and is unbearable, looking towards the light reveals a dazzling yellow-red color, or a dark cyan-black hue. This indicates a Ju (deep-seated suppurative infection). Directly amputating the distal phalanx results in one out of ten recoveries.
It is also said: For wind zhen (severe cutaneous sores) with unbearable pain, the Ju toxin erupts at the Back-Shu points of the Five Zang organs, corresponding to the joints, constituting a Tongdong Ju (penetrating deep ulcer). All such cases are fatal. Furthermore, if there is a foul heat sensation between the teeth with unceasing bleeding, it is also a Ju, leading to death within seven days. If treatment fails to heal, cover the blood with ash; otherwise, the toxicity may infect others.
It is also said: All such Ju cases are fatal; only alleviating pain is beneficial, with only one in ten surviving. These arise because toxic vapors invade the meridians and collaterals, causing Qi and Blood stagnation and obstruction, generated by the transformation of toxins.
The *Yangsheng Fang* (Prescriptions for Nourishing Life) states: After defecation, when sweating occurs, one should powder the body with rice flour. If allowed to dry naturally, it will develop into Feng Ju (wind-induced deep sore).
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: Brains from livestock that have died suddenly from epidemic diseases or summer illnesses are unsuitable for consumption, as they tend to cause Chang Yong (intestinal abscess) in humans.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: In the fourth lunar month, do not consume snail meat or chicken meat, as this may cause Neiyong (internal abscess) in the chest and hypochondrium, discharging through the anus.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: If human sweat contaminates food, consuming it will induce Yongjie (boils and carbuncles).
It is also said: In the fifth lunar month, do not consume immature drupes or peaches and jujubes, as these can trigger boils and carbuncles.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: In the sixth lunar month, do not consume five types of fruits that have fallen to the ground on their own. After overnight exposure to ants, mole crickets, and dung beetles crawling over them, they easily cause Jiu Lou (nine-type fistula/lymphatic tuberculosis).
It is also said: In the twelfth lunar month, do not consume leftover meat from dogs or rats, as this generates sores, causes pus discharge from the neck, or creates sores inside the mouth or throat.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: In the first lunar month, do not consume leftovers eaten by rats. This causes Shu Lou (rat fistula), manifesting on the neck; or toxins enter the abdomen causing continuous lower bleeding; or sores appear in the mouth, resembling insect damage.
The *Yangsheng Fang Daoyin Fa* (Guiding and Pulling Methods for Nourishing Life) states: Sit in a wide-legged squatting position (like a winnowing basket), insert both hands under the bent calves, support on the ground, bend the legs onto the hands, and lift the hips. This method promotes Qi circulation and cures Luoli (scrofula) and Ruyong (breast abscess).
The *Yangsheng Fang Daoyin Fa* states: Lie supine with arms and legs straight extended. Focus the mind on the location of the moon, visualizing the internal Qi becoming red like a cinnabar sac. This eliminates heaviness and discomfort in the lower abdomen.
The *Yangsheng Fang* states: Forcing oneself to retain stool for a long time leads to Qi Zhi (Qi hemorrhoids). Treatments involving hot compresses, acupuncture, and stone therapy have separate specific formulas. The methods of nourishment and Daoyin are attached below.
The *Yangsheng Fang Daoyin Fa* states: Stand on one foot while bending the other knee. Hold both hands below the Dubi (ST35) acupoint, pull forcefully towards the body to the limit. Alternate left and right for four sets of seven repetitions (28 times). This removes Wulao Zhizhi (hemorrhoids due to five labors) and regulates Qi descending from Zusanli (ST36).
It is also said: Squat with knees together and feet spread apart. Hold breath twice. This treats the five types of hemorrhoids.
It is also said: Hold both feet with hands, keep the head still, and draw Qi towards the mouth. Disperse the Qi of all solar terms. Repeat back and forth three sets of seven repetitions (21 times). Grasp the sides, twist the torso to the left and right pulling forcefully. Keep the waist still. This removes cold blood, cold sinews, stiffness, and stifling hemorrhoids caused by coldness in the marrow of the limbs and waist.
It is also said: Place the soles of both feet against each other facing the genital end. Contract forcefully. Cup the knees with both hands and push outward to the limit for two sets of seven repetitions (14 times). Then take positions leaning to the left and right sides for two sets of seven repetitions (14 times). Push the waist forward and backward seven times. This removes Xinlao Zhibing (heart-labor related hemorrhoid disease).
