The *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats enuresis (bedwetting).
Take a sheep's stomach, fill it with water, tie both ends tightly with thread, and boil until cooked. Open it, take the water inside, and drink it in one dose; the condition will be cured immediately.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Take one chicken together with its intestines, burn them to ash, and administer with wine. For boys, use a female chicken; for girls, use a male chicken.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Take a sheep's bladder, fill it with water, and burn it over charcoal until all the meat is consumed. Eat it on an empty stomach; no more than four or five doses are needed for a cure.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Take one bowl of freshly cooked hot rice, smear it onto the place where bedwetting occurs, mix it well, collect it, and feed it to the child without letting him know. This is effective.
Moxibustion method from *Qianjin Fang*: When the child has enuresis, let his hands hang down by his sides. At the depression at the tip of each finger, apply seven moxa cones (Zhuang). Also, apply seven moxa cones to the horizontal crease below the umbilicus.
Regarding the syndrome of pediatric bromhidrosis (fox odor) in *Chou Hou Bei Ji Fang* (Supplement to Emergency Prescriptions): When human Qi and blood are disordered, an odor resembling that of a wild fox appears in the axilla, known as bromhidrosis. This odor can be transmitted to others. Children often contract it through nursing, as the nurse may have had the disease and transmitted it to the child.
*Qianjin Fang* states: There is congenital body odor and odor acquired through transmission. Acquired odor is easier to treat but requires applying alum powder mixed with vinegar for three years continuously, along with taking Wuxiang Wan (Five-Aromatic Pills), to achieve a cure. Do not assume that one application of medicine cures the condition; it only provides temporary relief during application. Avoid consuming Brassica rapa var. parachinensis (Chinese flowering cabbage) and the Five Pungent Spices; otherwise, the condition cannot be cured in a lifetime.
Wuxiang Wan (Five-Aromatic Pills) from *Qianjin Fang*, treating oral and body malodor, promoting fragrance, relieving irritability, and dispersing stagnant Qi.
Cardamom (Doukou), Clove (Dingxiang), Agastache (Huoxiang), Lingnan Laurel (Linglingxiang), Aucklandia (Qingmuxiang), Angelica dahurica (Baizhi), Cinnamon Twig (Guixin) (each 1 liang); Cyperus rotundus (Xiangfuzi) (2 liang); Nardostachys (Gansongxiang), Angelica sinensis (Danggui) (each 0.5 liang); Areca Seed (Binglang) (2 pieces).
Grind these eleven herbs into powder, mix with honey to form pills. Frequently hold one pill the size of a soybean in the mouth, swallowing the juice. Take one pill every three nights. Alternatively, frequently hold and swallow the juice. After five days, the breath becomes fragrant; after ten days, the body becomes fragrant; after fourteen days, clothes and bedding become fragrant; after twenty-one days, people upwind smell the fragrance; after twenty-eight days, the water from washing hands smells fragrant when it hits the ground; after thirty-five days, shaking others' hands also imparts fragrance. Be cautious with the Five Pungent Spices to descend Qi and eliminate odor.
Prescription for bromhidrosis from *Qianjin Fang*:
Magnolia Flower (Xinti), Ligusticum chuanxiong (Xiong), Asarum (Xixin), Aristolochia debilis (Duhen), Ligusticum wallichii (Ben) (each 2 fen).

Process these eight herbs and sieve them. Make strips of cotton cloth shaped like ancient seal script characters, thick as a finger and four inches long. Apply the powder to the cloth strips, place them in a silk bag, and insert into the axilla. First, rub the area with cloth until it feels painful, then clamp the bag between the arms.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Aucklandia (Qingmuxiang), Aconite (Fuzi), White Ash (Baigui) (each 2 liang), Alum (Fanshi) (0.5 liang).

Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Magnolia Flower (Xinti), Asarum (Xixin), Ligusticum chuanxiong (Xiong), Aucklandia (Qingmuxiang) (each 4 fen).

Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:

Wrap the bag in thick mud-paper (half inch thick), dry it, roast it over fire until cooked, break it open, and mix with a little honey to keep it warm. Rub the axilla with raw cloth first, then insert the warm pill. If the pain is unbearable, bind the two arms tightly with a towel.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang* (*Zhouhou Fang* adds: apply pepper):

On the She Day in the second lunar month, secretly take a ball of millet porridge from the community shrine offering, throw it on the ground, and rub the axilla over it twenty-one times. Throw it at a crossroad. Do not let anyone see, or it will be ineffective.
