According to *Chao Shi Bing Yuan* (Pathogenesis of Diseases by Chao Yuanfang) regarding the manifestation of *Xiao'er Bai Dan* (Pediatric White Carbuncle): Initially, white carbuncle arises from heat-toxins combined with wind-heat, clashing within the blood vessels. Accumulation and steaming cause redness. If the heat is mild and wind predominates, the color appears slightly white.
*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* (Complete Medical Guide of Taiping Era) states: Pediatric white carbuncle is caused by the invasion of wind-cold qi, resulting in a white skin color. Upon onset, it presents with itching and pain, slight edema resembling raised wheals, without significant pain or redness, appearing white.
