Abdominal borborygmus and body flaccidity. The eyes and lips are pale. The cause is damage to milk and food due to improper diet. Treatment should primarily focus on tonifying Spleen Earth (Bu Pi Tu). Additionally, push the Three Gates (Tui San Guan), separate Yin and Yang (Fen Yin Yang), push the Large Intestine (Tui Da Chang), massage Tianmen and Hukou, rub the elbow, rub the umbilicus (Qi) and Guwei. Perform these manipulations twice a day. After diarrhea subsides, perform a tonification session once in the afternoon. After tonifying Spleen Earth, wipe upwards from Guwei to Qijiegu. Use Baolong Wan as the prescription. This pill treats all conditions caused by fright. It can also be taken for the initial or terminal stages of smallpox/chickenpox and sudden epidemic diseases.
The head tilts upward, hands raise up, crying is loud and wailing, nasal discharge is clear, limbs twitch, and mouth and eyes deviate. The cause is Heart Fire suppressing Lung Metal, with heat rising in the Lungs. Treatment should primarily focus on clearing Heart and Lung heat. Techniques include separating Yin and Yang, pushing the Three Gates, rotating the Eight Trigrams (Yun Bagua), clearing the Heavenly River Water (Qing Tianhe), rubbing Xiaotianxin, tonifying Kidney Water, clearing Lung Meridian, clearing Heart Meridian, performing Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl (Er Ren Shang Ma), flying metal moving qi (Fei Jin Zou Qi). If ineffective, use moxibustion with a burning lamp at Shenque point once. Prescription: Hang an umbrella upside down, suspend a goose upside down, collect saliva from the goose's mouth into a bowl, and administer it to the child. Recovery will follow.
Teeth grinding and chills, incessant crying, yellowish complexion, deviation of mouth and eyes, insensitivity to pinching pain. The cause is disease affecting Spleen and Lung; the child may have played with water or been exposed to cold rain/dew, causing cold to invade internally, resulting in fright. Treatment should primarily focus on pushing the Three Gates to induce sweating. Additionally, push Spleen Earth, tonify Kidney Water, separate Yin and Yang, perform rubbing and kneading (Zuo Cuo Mo), tonify Liver Meridian, and transport Water into Earth (Yun Shui Ru Tu). Use Ruxiang Wan as the prescription.
Limbs extend backward, head arches back, abdomen protrudes, unable to cry out. The cause is Cold invading the Lungs. Treatment should primarily focus on pushing the Three Gates to induce sweating. Additionally, push Lung Meridian, tonify Kidney, rotate the Eight Trigrams, separate Yin and Yang, pinch Four Horizontal Lines (Si Heng Wen), perform Red Phoenix Shaking Head (Chi Feng Yao Tou), pinch Crab Legs (Xie Zu) on both sides, and heavily rub Weizhong. Use Baicaoshuang mixed with Qiai (Ai Ye from Qichun), rubbed and warmed, then bound to the center of Danzhong and Kan positions.

Treatment should primarily focus on clearing Heart Meridian, clearing Heavenly River Water, and scooping the Bright Moon (Lao Mingyue). Administer Yanshou Dan.
Child's head tilts upward, limbs dance randomly. The cause is Fright from Wind. Treatment should primarily focus on Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl (Er Long Xi Zhu). Push the Three Gates, rotate the Eight Trigrams, push Spleen Earth, separate Yin and Yang, perform Yellow Bee Entering the Cave (Huang Feng Ru Dong). Prescription: Crush scallion white (Congbai) and apply to the umbilicus. Then gently rub the Er Ren Shang Ma point. Provide small amounts of milk/food for recovery.
