紫苏子散 治小儿咳逆上气，因乳哺无度，内挟风冷，伤于肺气，或小儿啼气未定，
与乳饮之，与气相逆，气不得下。
紫苏子 诃子（去核） 杏仁（去皮尖，炒） 萝卜子（炒） 木香 人参（去芦。各三两） 青皮 甘草（炒。
各一两半）
上为细末。每服二钱，水一盏，生姜三片，煎至五分，去滓，不拘时服，量儿加减。
《肘后》疗小儿咳嗽方
紫菀（六分） 贝母（二分） 款冬花（一分）
上捣为散。每服如豆大，着乳头上，令儿和乳咽之，日三四。乳母忌食大咸醋
物。《圣惠》用清粥饮调一字。
〔张涣〕马兜铃丹 治小儿肺壅咳嗽，大便不利。
马兜铃 紫苏子 人参（去芦头。各一两） 款冬花 木香（各半两，并为细末） 杏仁（七钱半，汤浸，去皮尖，
另细研）
上件，同拌匀，炼蜜和，如黍米大。每服十粒，煎生姜汤下，量儿大小加减。
人参半夏丹 消痰饮，止嗽。
人参（去芦） 半夏（汤洗七遍，焙干） 白术 川面姜 天南星（微炮。各一两）
上件捣，罗为细末，取生姜汁打面糊和，如黍米大。每服十粒，煎生姜汤下。
月内百 婴儿如针头大，沾在乳头上，令儿吮之。
贝母汤 治肺中风，咳嗽喘满。
贝母（炒黄色） 半夏（白矾汤洗七遍，焙干。各一两） 干姜 麻黄（去根节） 款冬花 甘草（炙，各半两）
上件捣，罗为细末，每服一钱，水一小盏，入生姜三片，杏仁二粒去皮尖，同
煎至五分，去滓温服。
Zisu Zi San (Perilla Seed Powder): Treats infantile cough with rebellious Qi, caused by unregulated breastfeeding, internal retention of Wind-Cold pathogenic factors damaging Lung Qi, or when an infant cries with unsettled Qi and is immediately given milk or fluids, causing the Qi of food/drink to conflict with respiratory Qi, preventing Qi from descending.
Perillae Fructus (Zi Su Zi), Chebulae Fructus (He Zi, pips removed), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xing Ren, skin and tips removed, stir-fried), Raphini Semen (Luo Bo Zi, stir-fried), Aucklandiae Radix (Mu Xiang), Ginseng Radix (Ren Shen, radix removed; each 3 liang), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride (Qing Pi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao, stir-fried; each 1.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, add 1 deng of water and 3 slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Sheng Jiang), decoct until 0.5 deng remains, filter out the dregs, and take at any time, adjusting the dosage according to the child's age.
Formula for Infantile Cough from *Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang* (Emergency Prescriptions Kept Up My Sleeve):
Sinomenii Caulis (Zi Wan, 6 fen), Fritillariae Bulbus (Bei Mu, 2 fen), Farfarae Flos (Kuan Dong Hua, 1 fen).
Pound and sieve into a powder. Take a dose the size of a bean, apply it to the nipple, allowing the infant to swallow it with milk, 3-4 times daily. The nursing mother should avoid consuming overly salty or vinegar-based foods. *Sheng Hui Fang* suggests administering one zi amount mixed with clear rice broth.
[Mao Huan] Madou Ling Dan (Aristolochia Pill): Treats infantile lung obstruction with cough and constipation.
Aristolochiae Radix (Ma Dou Ling), Perillae Fructus (Zi Su Zi), Ginseng Radix (Ren Shen, radix removed; each 1 liang), Farfarae Flos (Kuan Dong Hua), Aucklandiae Radix (Mu Xiang; each 0.5 liang, ground into fine powder together), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xing Ren, 7.5 qian, soaked in hot water, skin and tips removed, separately ground finely).
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, bind with refined honey, and form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10 pills per dose, administered with decocted Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Sheng Jiang) tea, adjusting based on the child's size.
Renshen Banxia Dan (Ginseng and Pinellia Pill): Resolves phlegm-fluids and stops cough.
Ginseng Radix (Ren Shen, radix removed), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Ban Xia, washed seven times in hot water, dried by baking), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Bai Zhu), Zingiberis Rhizoma (Chuan Mian Jiang), Arisaematis Rhizoma (Tian Nan Xing, mildly processed; each 1 liang).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve into a fine powder, use ginger juice to make a wheat paste binder, and form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10 pills per dose, administered with decocted Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Sheng Jiang) tea.
Yue Nei Bai: For infants within one month old, take a amount the size of a needle head, apply to the nipple, and let the infant suckle.
Beimu Tang (Fritillaria Decoction): Treats Wind invading the Lung, presenting with cough, wheezing, and chest fullness.
Fritillariae Bulbus (Bei Mu, stir-fried until yellow), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Ban Xia, washed seven times in Alum Water, dried by baking; each 1 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma (Gan Jiang), Ephedrae Herba (Ma Huang, roots and nodes removed), Farfarae Flos (Kuan Dong Hua), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao, honey-fried; each 0.5 liang).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve into a fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, add 1 small deng of water, 3 slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Sheng Jiang), and 2 grains of Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xing Ren, skin and tips removed), decoct together until 0.5 deng remains, filter out the dregs, and take warm.
