Mao Xiansheng's song states: A blue or pale complexion is still manageable; however, if the face is black like a green melon, this indicates cold pain arising from the abdomen and internal organs, requiring the administration of warming medicines to treat from within. Qian Yi stated: In cases of stomach deficiency-cold, characterized by a pale white face, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite, tonification is indicated, primarily using Yipi Yihuang San (Benefit Spleen and Benefit Yellow Powder).
