*Luxin Jing* treats children's cold-toxin gan dysentery (a chronic consumptive dysentery caused by cold toxin), with symptoms including "bai nong gan dian" (dysenteric discharge of white pus with a cyanotic complexion), progressive emaciation and weakness, anorexia, and abdominal pain.
Formula: Qingmuxiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, 1 fen) Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, mix with honey to form pills the size of *Koelreuteria paniculata* seeds. For children over one year old, administer one pill orally with warm water on an empty stomach; for children aged three to five years, administer two pills. The medicinal nature is hot; it should not be taken in excess. Avoid raw and cold foods. *Shenghui Fang* records the treatment of cold-heat dysentery using equal parts of these two herbs.
*Ge Shi Zhou Hou*'s Chicken Egg Cake therapy treats sudden-onset cold dysentery in children during autumn and summer, characterized by abdominal distension, alternating chills and fever, and leukorrhea-like discharge.
Usage: Take one chicken egg, one pill-sized piece of Hufen (Lead Carbonas, crushed), sift through silk, and mix with the egg yolk and white. Pound, grind, and blend well. Cook like a regular omelet. A one-year-old child consumes half a cake per meal, twice daily. Do not exceed two cakes total for recovery. For older children, double the dosage. This cake is suitable for children who are too emaciated and weak to tolerate herbal medicine.
*Wang Shi Shouji* treats pure white pus dysentery in adults and children with miraculous efficacy. Zhi Fu Wan (Lard and Aconite Pill).
Da Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, one piece).

Dip the aforementioned Fuzi in the oil until it cracks, remove, let cool, peel off the skin and umbilical remnant, and grind into a fine powder. Mix with jujube flesh to form pills. Adult pills are the size of *Koelreuteria paniculata* seeds; pediatric pills are the size of mung beans. Each dose consists of 5–7 to 15–20 pills, taken with rice decoction before meals on an empty stomach.
