The Ze Shu Mi Xian San (泽术麋衔散, *Alisma* and *Dysosma* Powder) from the *Su Wen* (Plain Questions) is used to treat "Jiu Feng" (Alcohol Wind), a condition caused by excessive alcohol consumption, characterized by profuse sweating resembling bathing, aversion to wind, and shortness of breath.
Prescription: Alismatis Rhizoma (Ze Xie, 泽泻), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Bai Zhu, 白术) (each 10 parts), Dysosma versipellis (Mi Xian, 麋衔) (5 parts).
The above three herbs are mixed and ground into a powder. Each dose consists of an amount held between three fingers, decocted in water. The administration method is "Hou Fan" (eating after taking medicine), meaning the medicine is taken first, followed by food.

Ban Xia Tang (半夏汤, Pinellia Decoction) (from *Ling Shu*), treats spontaneous sweating and insomnia caused by Phlegm-Fluids lodging in the Gallbladder Fu-Organ.
Prescription: Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, 半夏) (5 he, processed with Ginger Juice), Shu Mi (Sorghum, 秫) (1 sheng).
The above two ingredients are treated with flowing water, splashed ten thousand times. First, boil the Sorghum to extract the decoction, then add the Pinellia and cook further. Strain the dregs and drink one cup per dose, three times daily. Gradually increase the dosage until harmony is achieved. This is a formula from the *Ling Shu*. Later prescription books often add Huang Lian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, 黄连), Yuan Zhi (*Polygalae Radix*, 远志), Sheng Di Huang (*Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata*, 生地), Zao Ren (*Ziziphi Spinosae Semen*, 枣仁), and Gan Jiang (*Zingiberis Rhizoma*, 干生姜) to this decoction, still prepared with flowing water.
