Yang (Left) Usually prone to vomiting phlegm, now experiencing pain and pulling sensations in the thighs and legs, with discomfort in the lower back and spine. The pulse at both Guan positions is slippery. This is caused by Phlegm-Dampness flowing into the meridians.
Prepared Pinellia Rhizome (Zhi Banxia), Cinnamon Twig (Chuan Guizhi), Prepared Arisaema Rhizome (Zhi Nanting), Tangerine Peel (Juhong), White Silkworm (Bai Jiangcan), Stir-fried Immature Bitter Orange (Chao Zhishi), Spirit of Clematis Root (Weilingxian), Calcuated Gastrodia Tuber (Wei Tianma), Poria (Yun Fuzhu), Zhimi Fuzhu Wan (Pinellia Pill for Confusion).
Ni (Right) Intermittent internal heat, most severe in the thighs, yet body shape and spirit remain unemaciated. This is Liver Fire carrying Dampness, stagnating and sinking into the Lower Jiao.

Sun (Left) Heat intensity has gradually decreased, headache seems to have stopped, however, the right foot is exceptionally painful, with redness and swelling. The pulse is rapid, fine, and wiry. Liver Fire and Damp-Heat invading the Foot Triple Yang Meridians, presenting as symptoms of Gout/Ji Qi. Furthermore, since it evolved from Damp-Warmth, there is fear of complications such as Evil rushing to the Heart.

Rong (Left) Left knee still painful. Pulse is rapid and slippery, tongue coating white, tongue substance greasy. Wind-Damp-Heat invading the collaterals of the Foot Triple Yang Meridians, pathogenic force is still strong.

Modified prescription adds Taxillus Stem (Sangjisheng) and Angelica Sinensis (Danggui), take one Huoluo Wan (Collateral-Activating Pill), dissolved in aged rice wine.
Zhao (Left) Stool has become solid, cough and chest pain have also ceased. Only knee soreness and stabbing pain in the sole of the foot remain, all signs of Kidney Deficiency.

Shao (Left) Early spring, both knees painful, nearly forming Crane's Knee. Now external cold binds internal heat, causing Wind-Damp-Heat to invade the collateral tunnels. Pain in the anterior aspect of the legs and both shoulders/arms, inability to move. After pain, meridians feel burning hot. As stated in the Neijing, this is Mai Bi (Pulse Bi), which is Re Bi (Heat Bi). Proposing acrid-warm and cold herbs to unblock collaterals and drain heat.

Liang (Left) Sole of foot feels burning hot. Upon waking from sleep, lower back often hurts; movement resolves it. Both temporal regions also occasionally hurt. All due to internal obstruction by Damp-Phlegm, collaterals and tunnels not unblocked, Liver/Gallbladder Qi failing to descend sufficiently. Suitable to resolve phlegm and unblock collaterals.

Mao (Right) Left half of waist and leg still painful, pain site feels self-generated heat. Wind-Damp-Heat entering collaterals via deficiency. Condition postpartum makes urgent treatment difficult.
