Puncture the wound with rhinoceros horn, and it will heal immediately. (Another formula: urgently drink one bowl of sesame oil, and apply human feces to the injured area. Another formula: drink one bowl of indigo juice and also apply it to the injured area; both are effective.)
For gunshot wounds where the bullet is embedded in the flesh, use raw pumpkin slices and apply them to the affected area; the bullet will come out. Another formula: boil half a jin of honey until bubbling, add one jin of good-quality strong liquor (good-quality yellow rice wine is also acceptable), drink it hot according to one's capacity, and the bullet should adhere to clothing or bedding and come out. If an iron bullet does not come out, use aged fatty cured meat dipped in powdered real magnetite and apply it to the wound; the bullet will come out by itself.
(Most importantly, avoid soaking in cold water to prevent fire toxin from attacking the heart, and do not take cold-natured medicines.)
Usually, take an unlimited amount of old cucumbers, store them in a porcelain bottle, and keep them in a dark, damp place until they rot and turn into liquid. Apply this liquid to the affected area; it immediately relieves pain and prevents blistering. Also, mix human milk with lead carbonate powder, blend with a chicken feather, and apply to the affected area; this specifically treats recent scalds or burns. Also, take equal parts of Bai Lian (Ampelopsis Radix) and Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), grind them into powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply; the effect is miraculous. If medicine is not readily available, first drink Tong Bian (urine of boys under 12) to protect the heart and prevent fire toxin from attacking internally. Then take Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) powder, mix it with tung oil or sesame oil (both are acceptable), and apply. Even critically endangered patients can be guaranteed safety. Also, use egg white, cypress leaf juice, and sesame oil, mix well, and apply to the affected area for recovery. Another formula: take equal parts of Huai Hua Zi (Sophorae Flos Immaturus), raw Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Di Yu (Sanguisorbae Radix), and Fu Rong Fen (Hibiscus mutabilis L. powder), grind into powder, mix with egg white and two spoons of sesame oil, and apply.
(On no account use cold water, cold objects, well-bottom mud, or urine mud to shock the wound, as this may cause fire toxin to attack the heart. First, use hot Tong Bian...)
For all scalds and burns, first rub the wound with salt powder to protect the flesh from necrosis, then apply medicine. In an emergency, use rapeseed oil, grind soil from under the threshold that has been frequently stepped on by people's feet, and apply it to the wound; it will heal and not blister. However, it is essential to apply it promptly and quickly; applying more times is better. If too slow, blisters will form, greatly reducing the formula's efficacy. (If rapeseed oil is unavailable, sesame oil or tea seed oil can also be used.) Another formula: steam oil from shad fish, store it in an earthenware bottle buried in soil; applying this oil to scalds and burns is most effective. Also, wash with hot urine...
For scalds and burns, such as from splashing hot water or fire, urgently find large freshwater mussels in water, place them in a porcelain basin with their openings facing upward. In a secluded place, take three fen of Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum) and three fen of genuine Dangmen She Xiang (Moschus, musk), and grind them into fine powder. When the mussel's opening naturally opens, use a spoon to pour one or two fen of the Bing Pian and She Xiang powder into the mussel's opening; it will close by itself. The flesh inside the mussel will all turn into a paste. Then add a small amount more of Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum), use a chicken feather to dip and sweep the mixture onto the affected area, starting from the periphery and sweeping layer by layer towards the center. Use two or three mussels daily; pain will naturally decrease. Once the fire qi has receded, take the used mussel shells, burn them to ash preserving their properties, grind into fine powder, add a small amount of Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum) and She Xiang (Moschus), and sweep from the edges towards the center. If no mussels are available, use Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum) to rub from all four sides gradually towards the center; this can also lead to gradual recovery. Another formula: apply aged soy sauce stored for many years generously, but after healing, black marks will naturally remain. Another formula: have someone chew raw sesame seeds and apply the paste; it dries and relieves pain as applied. If the affected area is large, have many people chew together and apply; it will heal. Another formula: burn an old gourd ladle into ash and apply it (or mix with sesame oil and apply).
