Separately, take Tu Fu Ling (Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma) 2 jin, crush it, soak it in 10 jin of pure wine without ash residue overnight. Then add two pig pancreases, remove the fascia, and boil in a clean clay pot until only four large bowls of liquid remain.

Cover the head with a cotton quilt to induce sweating; stop when sweat appears on the soles of the feet. For severe cases, take two doses. The used quilt should be taken by the patient and buried in the soil. This also treats facial redness, facial blackening, and chancre.

Decoct in water and take orally.
Sheng Gan Cao (Prepared Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (5 qian), Jin Yin Hua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos) (4 qian), Ku Shen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Spica), Che Qian (Plantaginis Semen), Huang Bo (Phellodendri Cortex) (each 2 qian 6 fen), Chuan Jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) (1 qian). Decoct in water for external washing.
Treats Knot Toxins (Chancreous nodules). Symptoms include bone and joint pain, and rotting of the mouth and nose.
Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum), Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris), Fei Mian (Wheat Flour), Hu Po (Electrum), Zhen Zhu (Margarita), Di Ru Xiang (Olibanum), Niu Huang (Calculus Bovis).
Each of the above ingredients is 1.5 fen. Grind into fine powder together. Divide into twelve doses. Take one dose daily on an empty stomach with plain boiled water. If there are ulcerated areas, apply this directly.
Treats Yangmei Chuang (Syphilis). This sore must not use Qing Fen (Calomel). If it is Wind Toxin, Qing Fen is essential.
Jian Tou Sha (Arsenic compound?), Di Ru Xiang (Olibanum) (each 5 fen), Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum) (1 fen), Zhen Zhu (Margarita) (2 fen), Hu Po (Electrum) (1 fen), Niu Huang (Calculus Bovis) (2 fen), She Xiang (Moschus) (7 [fen/candareens]).
Grind into fine powder. Take 1 fen per dose, mixed with 5 fen of Fei Mian (Wheat Flour), delivered with decoction of Qi Liang (likely a typo for a specific herb or preparation, possibly *Qi Liang* refers to a local name or error, but translated as given). Use 10 liang of Qi Liang, crushed with a wooden mallet, decocted in 10 bowls of water.
If treating Wind Toxin, add Qing Fen (Calomel) 5 fen. If there are ulcers, add Ru Xiang (Olibanum) 4 fen and Gou Tai Gu (Dog Fetal Bone) 2 fen.
