Treats acne/pox that fails to emerge with luster, fails to swell and rise, has non-red roots, and presents with surface deficiency manifesting as itching and collapse.
Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Dou Kou (Cardamomi Fructus Rotundus), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Ding Xiang (Caryophylli Flos), Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Hou Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Chen Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Ban Xia (Pinelliae Tuber), Fu Ling (Poria), Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix).
When the Middle Qi is sufficient and Qi and Blood are abundant, the pox will be lustrous and able to rise and develop, the roots will be red and vibrant, and there will be no risk of surface itching and collapse. When Middle Qi is deficient, the surface also becomes weak,

Treats pox accompanied by cold shivering and teeth grinding, and also treats various conditions of Yang Qi deficiency and cold in both men and women. It can replace formulas such as Chen Shi's Twelve-Ingredient Yigong San.
Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shu Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) [2-3 qian], Huang Qi (Astragali Radix, honey-fried), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed), Zhi Fu Zi (Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [1-2 qian], Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex) [1 qian], Gan Cao (Licorice Root) [7 fen, administer slowly].
Treats pox due to Qi and Blood deficiency; add or subtract ingredients according to symptoms for miraculous efficacy, which cannot be fully described. It also treats various conditions of combined Qi and Blood deficiency in both men and women.
Shu Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) (or use Sheng Di Huang/Rehmanniae Radix), Gan Cao (Licorice Root, honey-fried), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba/Rubra) (all adjust according to suitability), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) [3-4 fen, do not use excessively], Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) (if there...).
If fever persists, or before the pox emerges, it is advisable to add Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix) to soothe and regulate, or add Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) to assist. After spots appear, if the pox fails to rise, or rises but does not... it is advisable to add Ding Xiang (Caryophylli Flos).
(Text fragment: "Penetrate and first")
Treats pox caused by Qi deficiency leading to itching, collapse, and inversion, cold shivering, and teeth grinding, and also treats various conditions of Yang Qi deficiency and cold in both men and women.
Huang Qi (Astragali Radix), Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Gan Cao (Licorice Root, honey-fried). The above herbs are cut into small pieces. Decoct in water and take orally. For modifications, refer to the decoction method of the previous six ingredients.
Treats pox presenting as vesicles/blisters. (There is excess heat inside, fluid retention in the chest/diaphragm, and excessive heat moving outward. Initially, the pox color is crystal clear and bright; shortly after, all pox become vesicles. This is the meaning that water cannot moisten downward, akin to burning firewood at the bottom of a stove causing bubbles in a pot.)
Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fu Ling (Poria), Ze Xie (Alismatis Rhizoma).
Bai Zhu is sweet and drying; it benefits Earth (Spleen/Stomach) to prevent water overflow. Fu Ling is sweet and bland; it benefits Earth to drain water accumulation. Ze Xie is salty and moistening; it moistens downward and promotes urination.
