Bian Que bestowed upon me the *Yulong Ge* (Song of the Jade Dragon), and a single trial of the *Yulong Ge* can cure chronic, intractable diseases.
The Song of the Jade Dragon is rarely obtained in the world; I have studied it meticulously, ensuring my hand techniques are flawless.
I now chant this *Yulong Jue* (Secret Formula of the Jade Dragon), which covers one hundred and twenty acupoints.
The manipulation of needles is unparalleled in its wonder; I only fear that contemporary practitioners may deviate from the standard.
Tonification (Bu) and sedation (Xie) are clearly applied under the fingers; with a single insertion of the golden needle, a good physician is revealed.
The stooped can stand upright immediately, the patient can rise, and thus fame spreads across lakes and seas.
(Tonify Quchi LI11, sedate Renzhong GV26; Tonify Fengchi GB20, sedate Jiegu GB39)
Stroke-induced aphasia is the most difficult to treat, but points at the vertex hairline can also be utilized.
Clearly apply tonification and sedation at Baihui GV20, allowing for immediate awakening and avoiding disaster and danger.
Dingmen (Vertex Gate): This is Xinhui EX-HN18. It is located one cun posterior to Shangxing GV23. Needling is prohibited; moxibustion of seven moxa cones is indicated. If needled, use the sedation method.
Baihui GV20: Located in the center of the vertex where the hair whorl is found. To locate it, measure the midpoint between Yintang EX-HN3 (between the eyebrows) and the anterior hairline. Insert the needle approximately one fen deep. For stroke, apply tonification first followed by sedation, with more tonification and less sedation. Moxibustion of seven cones is indicated; no tonification should be used (Note: Text says "no tonification", though previous sentence suggests tonification).
Stroke causing deviation of the mouth and eye must be treated by connecting Dicang ST4 and Jiache ST6.
Sedate the right side for left-sided symptoms, and sedate the left side for right-sided symptoms, following the master's words, do not err.
Dicang ST4: Located directly below the pupil, adjacent to the corner of the mouth. Insert the needle one fen deep.
Jiache ST6: Located three fen below the earlobe. Needle along the skin, penetrating downward to Dicang ST4 for one and a half cun. Apply fourteen moxa cones (two sets of seven).
Headwind (Toufeng) accompanied by vomiting and blurred vision: The point is Shenting GV24; needling here will not fail.
Pediatric convulsions can all be treated; insert the needle into Yintang EX-HN3 and add moxibustion.
Shenting GV24: Located five fen above the anterior hairline, directly above the nose tip. Insert the needle three cun (Note: Likely a textual error for three fen, as three cun is excessively deep for this location); apply tonification first followed by sedation, with more sedation and less tonification.
Yintang EX-HN3: Located in the depression between the two eyebrows. Insert the needle one fen deep. Penetrate laterally along the skin to Zanzhu BL2 on the left first; after completing tonification and sedation, return to the original point; then withdraw and penetrate to Zanzhu BL2 on the right, applying tonification and sedation according to the aforementioned method. For acute conditions, use tonification; this is an acupoint that connects to the Spirit (Shen).
Headwind, whether lateral or central, is the most difficult to treat; the golden needle at Sizhukong TE23 can also be applied.
Furthermore, penetrate along the skin to Lvgu GB8; one needle treating two acupoints is rare in the world.
Sizhukong TE23: Located in the depression at the posterior end of the eyebrow entering the hairline. Needle along the skin, penetrating backward.
Lvgu GB8: Located one cun above the apex of the ear. Insert the needle three fen, apply seven moxa cones. Open the mouth when needling. Use sedation for pain, and tonification for vertigo/dizziness.
