Xia Yingbai said: Use both hands to pinch the Xiaodao (Guide) and Weiling (Spirit of Mightiness) acupoints on the child, and sway the limbs back and forth. This method treats yellow edema (Huangzhong), rescues sudden death, and reduces phlegm rales in the throat.
Xia Yingbai said: Ershengmen (Two Gates of Life) is located on the dorsum of the hand, on both sides of the middle finger, approximately half a cun away from the middle finger. If sweating is desired, pinch the Heart Meridian points, press Neilaogong (Inner Laogong), and push Sanguan (Three Passes). If sweat still does not appear, then pinch this point until slight sweat appears at the center of the child's palm, then stop.
Xia Yingbai said: This point is located on the medial side of the little finger on the dorsum of the hand, opposite the Duigong (Dui Palace) area of the palm. Pinching this point can clear the spirit and smooth Qi, tonify Kidney Water, awaken deep coma, and treat red and difficult urination.

Xia Yingbai said: This point is on the dorsum of the middle finger, near the nail, approximately the width of a leek leaf apart. If the child suffers from sudden wind-stroke or death, apply grasping manipulation to the Xiaodao and Weiling points. If they do not regain consciousness, pinch this point; if there is no sensation of pain, it is difficult to treat.
Xia Yingbai said: This point is at the end of the little finger on the dorsum of the hand, towards the lateral side. Pushing upward clears urinary retention and red urine; pushing downward tonifies Kidney deficiency.
Xia Yingbai said: Heavy kneading of the dorsum of the hand can soothe the Liver and harmonize Blood.
