Xia Yingbai stated: Pinch the epidermis at the root of the thumbnail (referred to as "snail shell bone"), and pulling it can resolve food stagnation.
Xia Yingbai stated: First, pinch Zongjin (General Tendon) and Guonei Laogong (Inner Laogong within Bone), then separate Yin and Yang by pushing from the center of the Yin-Yang points. Next, using both thumbs, start from the midpoint of the Yin-Yang points, push upward in a pinching motion until reaching Neiguan (Pericardium 6), and then pinch at Kanli (Kan and Li) point. This method is strongly heating and is used for inducing sweating.
Xia Yingbai stated: Use the thumb to pinch Zongjin (General Tension), with the other four fingers extended and placed below. The thumb moves up and flips, making the four fingers resemble a wing shape, and pinch until Neiguan (Pericardium 6). This method is strongly heating and treats all types of cold syndromes.
Xia Yingbai stated: First, rotate the five meridian lines, then spread the five fingers and pat at Neiguan (Pericardium 6). Then push the Heart Meridian and knead Qiguan (Qi Gate), which can promote the circulation of Qi throughout the body.
Xia Yingbai stated: This acupoint is located at the end of the palm base under the thumb on the back of the hand. Pinching it treats malaria and phlegm obstruction.
Xia Yingbai stated: The Liu Fu (Six Bowels) area is on the anterior aspect of the forearm. Pushing downward adds cooling properties for males, but for females, pushing downward paradoxically adds heat due to the principle that extreme Yin generates Yang. If you push down on Liu Fu three times, you must also push up on San Guan (Three Gates) once to balance it. If you only push without balancing, males may suffer from excessive cold causing stagnation, while females may develop heat fire.

Xia Yingbai stated: This acupoint is located in the middle of the wrist at the end of the dorsal root. Pinching it treats abdominal pain, pale lips, and acute or chronic wind syndromes (convulsions). Additionally, pinching this acupoint while simultaneously pinching the tip of the middle finger can induce vomiting in children.
Xia Yingbai stated: This acupoint is on the posterior aspect of the forearm, three cun away from the palm. Pinching it treats headache caused by wind-phlegm, and constipation or urinary retention with red-yellow discharge.
Tu Weisheng stated: According to acupuncture texts, the Yangchi (Pool of Yang) acupoint corresponds to what Xia Yingbai calls Yiwo Feng (Wind in One Nest). What Xia Yingbai calls Yangchi corresponds to the Zhi Gou (Branching Stream) acupoint in acupuncture. It is opposite to Neiguan (Pericardium 6) and could be named Waishi Jian (Outer Intercostal Enabler). If we accept Xia Yingbai's terminology, there is no place to assign the name "Waishi Jian." Regarding the measurement of cun for children, it refers to a specific child. Specifically, measure one cun as the distance between the transverse creases at the two ends of the second joint of the middle finger; otherwise, it is incorrect.
