Wang Shi said: His younger brother would experience inevitable soreness and pain in the knees after walking one or two li, making walking impossible; he had to sit down and massage the area with his hands before being able to walk again. Later, he recovered after taking large amounts of *Fuzi* (Prepared Aconite Root). In winter, my knees also ached and hurt; I was cured by moxibustion at Dubi (ST35, Dog’s Nose). This demonstrates that herbal medicine and moxibustion should not be neglected. Moxibustion at Xiguan (EX-LE8, Knee Gate) or Zusanli (ST36, Three Li of the Leg) is also effective. Simply press the acupoint; if it feels sore and painful, that is the site of the disease. Moxibustion application is not restricted.
