独活（去芦头一两半） 枳壳（去瓤杵麸炒） 芎 当归（切焙各一两） 竹沥（半
碗） 细辛（去苗叶） 桂（去粗皮各半两） 防风（去叉） 蔓荆实（各一两） 上将八
味粗捣筛。每服三钱
小续命汤 治产后中风。口面 斜。手足不遂。语涩昏昧。
麻黄（去根节煎掠去沫焙三两） 甘草（炙） 桂（去粗皮各一两） 芎 当归（锉
炒） 干姜（炮） 黄芩（去黑心） 石膏（各半两） 杏仁（去皮尖双仁炒四十枚） 上
粗捣筛。每服三钱。
竹沥汤 治产后中风口 。言语不利。手足不随。
竹沥（半两） 防风（去叉一两半） 升麻（一两一分） 羌活（去芦头） 桂（去粗
皮） 芎 羚羊角屑（各一两） 麻黄（去瓤节煎掠去沫焙一两半） 杏仁（去皮尖双仁
炒八十枚） 上除竹沥外粗捣筛。每服三钱。水一盏。煎至七分。去滓。入竹沥半合。再煎
至七分。温服不拘时候。
天麻散 治产后中风。口眼 斜。筋脉不利。
天麻 荆芥穗 生干地黄（焙） 独活（去芦头） 当归（切焙） 桂（去粗皮） 白
僵蚕（炒） 防风（去叉） 延胡索（各半两） 上捣为散研匀。每服二钱。空心薄荷酒调
下。
葛根汤 治产后中风。口面 斜。
葛根 防风（去叉） 附子（炮去皮脐各一两） 枳实（去瓤麸炒一两半） 麻黄（去

桂心（去粗皮三分） 升麻 防风（去叉各一两） 芎 羚羊角屑（各一两半） 麻
黄（去根节煎掠去沫焙一两） 上粗捣筛。每服三钱。水一盏。煎至七分。去滓入竹沥半合。
再煎三两
附子汤 治产后中风口 。
附子（炮裂去皮脐） 干姜（炮各四两） 桂（去粗皮锉一两） 芎 （一两半） 麻
黄（去根节煎掠去沫焙干一两） 上锉如麻豆。每服五钱。水一盏半。煎至七分。去滓温服。
不拘时候。
地黄汤 治产后中风。口 面僻。语涩不利。
生地黄（汁） 竹沥（各半升） 独活（去芦头一两半） 上将独活粗捣筛。每服三钱。
水一盏。
人参汤 治产后中风。口面 斜。

The Foot-Yangming Meridian enters the upper teeth. It circles around and emerges alongside the mouth, crossing below the lips at Chengjiang (CV24). The Hand-Taiyang Meridian ascends along the neck to the cheek and reaches the outer canthus of the eye. These two meridians are struck by Wind-Cold pathogens, causing the sinews and tendons to contract and become tense, pulling on the facial muscles. Consequently, deviation of the mouth and eyes occurs, speech is slurred, and the eyes cannot gaze normally.
Formulas
Duhuo Tang (Angelicae Pubescentis Decoction): Treats postpartum wind-stroke. Symptoms include deviation of the mouth and eyes, slurred speech, and contracted, tense sinews and vessels.
Ingredients: Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis), Zhiqiao (Fructus Aurantii), Xiong (Radix Chuanxiong), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Zhuli (Nodus Bambusae in Taeniam), Xixin (Herba Asari), Gui (Ramulus Cinnamomi), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Manjingshi (Fructus Viticis). Preparation: Coarsely crush and sieve the eight ingredients. Take 3 qian per dose.
Xiao Xuming Tang (Minor Continuation Life Decoction): Treats postpartum wind-stroke. Symptoms include deviation of the mouth and eyes, paralysis of the limbs, slurred speech, and mental confusion.
Ingredients: Mahuang (Herba Ephedrae), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Gui (Ramulus Cinnamomi), Xiong (Radix Chuanxiong), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae). Preparation: Coarsely crush and sieve. Take 3 qian per dose.
Zhuli Tang (Bamboo Juice Decoction): Treats postpartum wind-stroke with deviation of the mouth and eyes. Symptoms include impaired speech and inability to move the limbs freely.
Ingredients: Zhuli (Nodus Bambusae in Taeniam), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae), Qianghuo (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii), Gui (Ramulus Cinnamomi), Xiong (Radix Chuanxiong), Lingyangjiaoxie (Cornu Saigae Tataricae), Mahuang (Herba Ephedrae), Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae). Preparation: Except for the bamboo juice, coarsely crush and sieve the other ingredients. Take 3 qian per dose. Add one sheng of water, decoct to 70%, strain, add half he of bamboo juice, and decoct again to 70%. Take warm, at any time.
Tianma San (Gastrodia Powder): Treats postpartum wind-stroke. Symptoms include deviation of the mouth and eyes and dysfunction of the sinews and vessels.
Ingredients: Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae), Jingjie Sui (Spica Schizonepetae), Sheng Dihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens), Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Gui (Ramulus Cinnamomi), Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Yanhusuo (Rhizoma Corydalis). Preparation: Crush into powder and mix evenly. Take 2 qian per dose. Administer with mint wine on an empty stomach.
Gegen Tang (Pueraria Decoction): Treats postpartum wind-stroke. Symptoms include deviation of the mouth and eyes.
