[Appendix Discussion]
The so-called Gan Jie (Dry Eczema/Scabies) is characterized merely by itching. Upon scratching, the skin rises and forms dry scabs. This occurs because Wind-Heat pathogenic factors have penetrated deeply and reside between the muscles.

Ingredients: Huang [Missing Character] ([Missing Character], 2 liang, sliced); Wu She (Serpens, 4 liang, soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, roasted until yellow); Yin Yu (Rhizoma Coptidis? Note: Context suggests different herb, likely Rhizoma Cibotii or similar given "Yin", but standard text often cites specific herbs. Here literal translation of name): Yin Yu (Herba Siegesbeckiae? Or Rhizoma Cibotii? WHO term: Rhizoma Cibotii if referring to Xi Xian Cao context, but strictly "Yin Yu" is Rhizoma Cibotii or similar fern rhizomes. Let's use Rhizoma Cibotii based on common pairing, though text says Yin Yu. Actually, Yin Yu usually refers to Rhizoma Cibotii or Huperzia. Given "Chuan Wu Tou", it might be a toxic formula. Let's stick to Pinyin/Name): Yin Yu (Rhizoma Cibotii/Huperzia, 2 liang); Chuan Wu Tou (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii, 2 liang, processed until cracked, peel and navel removed); Fu Zi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, [Missing Dosage]).
Usage: Pound 300-200 times, form into pills the size of wu zi.

[Missing Text] powder. Named Bai Fan San (Alumen Powder).
Ru Sheng San (Like-Sage Powder): Treats Wind-Toxin of the Lung organ attacking the skin, causing stagnation and涩 (obstruction) of Blood and Qi, transforming into sores, eczema/scabies with itching. Scratching causes skin to rise and form scabs, spreading and extending continuously.
Ingredients: She Chuang Zi (Fructus Cnidii, half liang); Huang Lian (Rhizoma Coptidis, remove mustaches, 3 fen); Shui Yin (Hydrargyrum, mixed with Hu Fen and water, ground until black, 1 fen); Hu Fen (Cerussa/Lead Carbonate, Jie Sha Zi, 1 liang).
