The Qi and Blood in the meridians become moist and slippery when exposed to heat, but become coagulated and stagnant when exposed to cold. During the winter season of severe cold, Qi and Blood coagulate and fail to flow smoothly, resulting in skin and flesh that are not warm, leading to frostbite (frostbite).
Dai Ren (Zhang Congzheng)'s daughter's maid suffered from a cold ulcer on her foot, commonly known as frostbite. Dai Ren prescribed Zhou Che Wan (Boat and Cart Pill) and Xun Chuan San (River Clearing Powder), treating her with strong purgation. Her ulcer eventually healed. Some people were skeptical about this approach.

Sesame Oil, Asphaltum, Lead Tetroxide (Huang Dan), Charred Grass Dust. First add Sesame Oil to the pot, then add Asphaltum, followed by Charred Grass Dust, and finally Lead Tetroxide. Once formed, it becomes an ointment plaster.
