Women suffering from hemorrhoids are caused by excessive consumption of alcohol, sexual indulgence, emotional fluctuations, invasion of wind pathogens, improper diet, and fatigue damaging the meridians. Huai'er Wan (Sophora Ear Pill): Treats chronic hemorrhoids in women with continuous discharge of pus and blood.
Ingredients: Sophora ear (lightly stir-fried), Ox horn (roasted until yellow), Yuyuliang (Hematitum, calcined and quenched in vinegar twice, 2 liang each), Pig suspended hoof nail (10 pieces, roasted until scorched yellow), She Xiang (Moschus), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced, mixed with refined honey to form pills).
Guijia San (Tortoise Shell Powder): Treats hemorrhoids in women with swelling, pain, and bleeding at the anus.
Ingredients: Gujia (Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum, 2 liang, roasted until slightly yellow), Cishi (Magnetitum, crushed and water-flowered), Baichuanru (Decayed boat fungus), Luangfa Hui (Ash of tangled hair), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced, lightly stir-fried until yellow), Chi Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Mu Zei (Equiseti Herba). Pulverized into a fine powder.
Juchang Wan (Intestine-Restraining Pill): Treats various types of hemorrhoids with swelling and itching around the anus, or formation of abscesses with pus and blood, or prolapse of the rectum that cannot be reduced. Effective. This prescription should not be disseminated casually.
Ingredients: Bai Fan (Alumen, 5 qian each), Lv Fan (Chalcanthitum, 5 qian), He Zi (Terminalia Chebula Retz., 10 pieces), Zhi Qiao (Aurantii Fructus, 5 qian), Bai Fuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma, 10 pieces), Tian Nanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma, 5 qian), Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, 3 qian, boiled in vinegar and mixed with wheat paste to form pills).
Huai Ziren San (Sophora Seed Powder): Treats hemorrhoids in women with anal itching, pain, and continuous bleeding.
Ingredients: Huai Zi (Sophorae Semen, 1.5 liang, lightly stir-fried), Chu Shi Pi (Celtis Sinensis Cortex, roasted until yellow), Sang Er (Morus Aurantii Fructus), Mu Zei (Equiseti Herba), Huang Qi (Astragali Radix, sliced), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced, lightly stir-fried). Hai Piao Xiao (Sepiae Endoconcha). Pulverized into a fine powder.
Wei Pi Wan (Porcupine Skin Pill): Treats chronic hemorrhoids in women with discharge of pus and blood, pain, swelling, and distension.
Ingredients: Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium, roasted until yellow and broken), Xu Duan (Dipsaci Radix), Huai Zi (Sophorae Semen, lightly stir-fried), Lian Qiao (Forsythiae Fructus), Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed and sliced), Huang Qi (Astragali Radix, sliced). Formed into pills the size of Sophora seeds.
Liu Huang Wan (Sulfur Pill): Treats chronic hemorrhoids in women that persist despite treatment, characterized by deficiency-cold of the zang-fu organs, sallow complexion, poor appetite, and weakness.
Ingredients: Liu Huang (Sulfur, finely ground), Bai Fan Hui (Ash of Alumen), Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium, roasted until yellow), Teng Zi (Callicarpos Fruit, shelled and lightly stir-fried), Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced, mixed with wheat paste to form pills).
Zao Jia Ci Wan (Gleditsia Spine Pill): Treats chronic hemorrhoids in women that persist despite treatment.
Ingredients: Zao Jia Ci (Gleditsiae Spina, 1 liang, stir-fried until yellow), Ye Li Tou (Wild Cat Head, 1 piece, stir-fried until yellow), Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium, 1 slice, roasted and burnt to ash), Wu She Rou (Natrix Meat, 1 liang, mixed with wine and stir-fried until yellow). Add ingredients. Pulverized into powder.
Biejia San (Softshell Turtle Shell Powder): Treats five types of hemorrhoids in women.
Ingredients: Biejia (Trionycis Carapax), Lu Feng Fang (Vespa Nidus), She Tui (Ophichthus Mucosa), Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium), Zhu Hou Xuantian Jia (Pig Posterior Suspended Hoof Nail) (Five ingredients, roasted to preserve nature, 2 liang each), She Xiang (Moschus, 1 fen). Each ingredient is ground into a fine powder separately. Vegetable.
Chuanshan Jia San (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats hemorrhoids in women.
Ingredients: Chuanshan Jia (Manis Squama, 1 liang, roasted until yellow), Teng Zi (Callicarpos Fruit, 1 liang, shelled and lightly stir-fried), Qilinjie (Dragon's Blood), Lu Feng Fang (Vespa Nidus, 0.5 liang, lightly stir-fried), Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium). Take one qian.
Miduoseng Wan (Litharge Pill): Treats hemorrhoids in women with a sallow complexion.
Ingredients: Miduoseng (Lithargyrum, 1 liang, burned until red), Bai Fan Hui (Ash of Alumen, 1 liang), Zhizi Ren (Gardeniae Fructus, 0.5 liang, lightly stir-fried), Zao Jia Hui (Ash of Gleditsia Fructus, 1 fen), Jiguan Hua (Crani Flower, 0.5 liang).
Zhi Qiao San (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats hemorrhoids in women with unbearable itching and pain; suitable for moxibustion/warming therapy.
Ingredients: Zhi Qiao (Aurantii Fructus, 2 liang), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 0.5 liang), Gui Jian Yu (Corni Ramulus, 2 liang), Gui Jiu (Podophylli Rhizoma, 1 liang), Huai Ziren (Sophorae Semen, 1 liang). Coarsely crush the herbs. Use slow fire.
Huang Gua Lou San (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats hemorrhoids in women.
Ingredients: Huang Gua Lou (Trichosanthis Fructus, 1 piece), Bai Fan (Alumen, 2 liang), Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium, 1 slice, sliced). Place all herbs in a porcelain bottle and cover the mouth. Gradually heat over charcoal fire until thoroughly red. Wait until...
Hei Long Wan (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats hemorrhoids in women with unbearable pain and bleeding.
Ingredients: Hei Long Wei Mei (Black Dragon Tail Coal), Luan Fa Hui (Ash of Tangled Hair), Shen Qu (Medicated Leaven) (lightly stir-fried, 1 liang each). Pulverize into powder. Mix with jujube flesh to form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Take before meals.
Lu Feng Fang San (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats "head" hemorrhoids in women with continuous pus and blood; suitable for topical application.
Ingredients: Lu Feng Fang (Vespa Nidus, 0.5 liang, cut into pieces and lightly stir-fried), Wei Pi (Erinacei Corium, 1 liang, burnt to ash), She Xiang (Moschus, 1 liang). Grind together until fine. Apply freshly prepared powder to the hemorrhoid head.
Bai Fan Wan (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats chronic hemorrhoids in women that do not heal.
Ingredients: Bai Fan Hui (Ash of Alumen), Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed, pulverized, 2 liang each). Grind until fine and uniform. Soak steamed cake in water. Mix to form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Take per dose.
Treats long-term pain in women; mental agitation and anger lead to hemorrhoids resembling lotus seeds, with heat, swelling, and pain. (from *Daquan Liangfang*)
