Regarding the five types of Ge Qi (Obstruction Syndrome) manifesting with vomiting of sour fluid, the pathology involves stagnation of Qi in the chest, retention of fluid-dampness in the Stomach, and accumulation of cold water invading the Spleen and Stomach. When the Spleen is affected by water-dampness, it loses its ability to transform and transport nutrients.
