Women with a deficient constitution are susceptible to wind-pathogenic qi. The pathogen travels with the blood. It may overflow into the skin and subcutaneous tissue, causing sudden pulling pain that migrates without a fixed location. Hence it is called "Zou Zhu" (Wandering Injection).
