The seeds are yellowish-brown, like millet, and extremely light and hollow.
Li Shizhen said: Its flowers cluster like crushed rice. Its seeds consist of two halves, resembling Anethum graveolens seeds but finer, with fine ridges. Any plant with flowers and fruits resembling Shechuang includes Danggui (*Angelica sinensis*), Xiongqiong (*Ligusticum chuanxiong*), Shuiqin (*Oenanthe javanica*), Gaoben (*Ligusticum sinense*), and Huluobo (*Daucus carota*).
