令人尿脐中；仍用热土、大蒜等分，捣水去滓灌之，即活（时珍）。

[Indications] For sudden death of pedestrians in summer, pile this soil on the chest area; replace it with slightly cooled soil once, and revival will occur as qi circulation is restored (Sun Zangqi). Alternatively, surround the umbilicus with hot soil and induce urination into the navel; or mix equal parts of hot soil and garlic, pound into a paste, filter out the dregs, and administer orally for immediate revival (Li Shizhen).
Soil from Crossroads
[Indications] Mainly treats yellow discharging ulcers on the head and face; apply externally in equal proportions with Zaoxia Tu (Furnace Hearth Soil) (Li Shizhen).

[Indications] Treats malignant sores exuding yellow fluid; apply soil collected from the corner of salt carts (Sun Zangqi). For pedestrians dying suddenly on the road, take five qian of soil from under the wheel, mix with water, let settle, clear the supernatant, and drink one bowl for immediate revival. Additionally, newborn infants with reddish skin lacking normal coloration are considered to have lacked "earth qi" during conception. Apply crushed soil from areas where carriages pass externally; normal skin generation occurs after three days (Li Shizhen).

[Names] Li Shizhen states: This refers to the thickened earth at the gate threshold of places where markets are held during the day.

[Indications] Facilitates childbirth in women; wear it starting from the ninth month of pregnancy. During labor, administer one qian taken with wine (Sun Zangqi).

[Collected Explanations] Li Shizhen states: This is raised earth on walking paths outside homes, accumulated from shoes of people coming and going. Geomancers say that having this soil in a residence indicates prosperity.
[Indications] For early-stage Biandu (Inguinal Abscess), grind the soil with vinegar applied via fresh ginger root and apply topically (Li Shizhen).
