Injury to this acupoint may go unnoticed by the patient. If one assumes that fists, feet, sticks, or clubs cannot injure this vital point, it is often due to negligence in youth when the back was flexible ("flower of the back"). This condition can range from mild to severe; if caused by emotional injury (Seven Emotions: joy, anger, worry, thought, sadness, fear, fright), it is also difficult to treat.
This prescription consists of twelve items. Occasionally, those seeking prescriptions use them for treatment; issuing thirty-four prescriptions has never been ineffective. When prescribing based on the specific nature of the injured acupoint, success is certain. Study carefully, and you will naturally understand the path to longevity.
The lifelong method of knotting pulses still derives one or two points from the acupoint pulses. It must be understood and practiced, taught personally by the master. If one learns this method without knowing these principles, even being as brave as a fierce tiger will be of no avail.
