Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Galenae Pulvis (Miduoseng), Arecae Semen (Binglang), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang) [These four herbs are used in equal proportions].
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Apply a small amount directly to the wound surface. If the pus has dried, mix with saliva and apply topically.
Treats wind-toxin attacking the lower zang-fu organs, causing sores on the head and face, and generalized pruritus.
Agkistrodon (Baihuashe) [Soaked in wine overnight, skin and bones removed, weighed], Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi) [Used raw], Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan) [Stir-fried, silk mouth removed], Tribuli Fructus (Baijili) [Stir-fried, spines removed] [These four herbs are used in equal proportions].
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. Administer on an empty stomach or before meals.
Treats lower jiao gan sores. (The following are formulas for treating lower jiao gan sores.)
Moschus (Shexiang) [Half qian, separately ground], Boswelliae Resina (Ruxiang) [Half qian, separately ground], Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) [Powdered, 1 qian], Minium (Huandan) [1 qian, calcined on a tile, separately ground], Bai... [Text missing, likely a white mineral/herb].
Grind the ingredients uniformly. Wash the wound with warm water, dry with cotton, and apply the powder to the affected area. Use three times daily.
