(Preceding verse)
Once again, Tai (Peace) and Zhuang (Mighty) descend, corresponding to Qian (Heaven). Dun (Retreat), Pi (Standstill), Guan (Contemplation), and Bo (Splitting Apart) correspond to the second and sixth lines of Kun (Earth).
Qing (Green/Blue) and Bai (White) are separated in their correct positions, opening and closing correspondingly.
Chi (Red) and Hei (Black) come and go, connecting the pathways.
Tai resides in Gen (Mountain), Pi resides in Kun (Earth).
Qian serves as the Heavenly Gate, Xun (Wind/Wood) serves as the Earthly Door.
Qi concludes at Chou (Ox hour/time) and begins at Yin (Tiger hour/time).
Blood is fixed at Xin (Metal stem), Yin Qi rises from below.
Bing (Fire stem) hides, Ren (Water stem) is within, yet flows from high places.
Moving forward to Yi (Wood stem) point, it then circulates upward.
As a wife follows her husband's song, when does it ever stop?
Myriad streams and thousand currents do not rest for a moment.
Blood and Qi encompass the six trigrams (children) within.
Day and night, they flow and circulate fifty times.
During meal times, the pores (Couli) should be cultivated with reverence.
The Xuanfu (Mysterious Pores) surround the body, uniformly closing to resist pathogens.
The momentum overturns mountains and seas, toxicity is extremely fierce.
Stirring the nose or twirling the mustache, the heart does not fear.
Heaven is long and Earth is enduring, held by the Great Void (Taixu).
Not losing the numerical count of eighty-one Yuan.
Do not speak of riding emptiness and walking on void.
To gain health and peace, the number of thirty-six is sufficient.
Knowing it is not difficult; practicing it is difficult.
In haste or adversity, one should always consider this.
(Latter prose)
Moreover, the shape of Heaven and Earth is like the character "Mao" (Rabbit), lying horizontally across East, South, West, and North; this is the natural trend. Due to the circulation of Blood and Qi, the cycle begins at the Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian and ends at the Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian.
The Yellow Emperor asked: Is the Earth located below?
Qibo answered: The Earth is below humans, situated within the Great Void.
The Yellow Emperor asked: Does it sink?
Qibo answered: It is supported by the Great Qi (Atmosphere).
Thus, the Earth is like "Mao," with the ecliptic within it.
It is also said: The Earth is that which carries and generates all forms. The I Ching says: Kun is thick and carries things, its virtue is boundless. Indeed, Heaven envelops Earth, shaped like "Mao."
Therefore, above the human head is the Heaven of Heaven; below the feet is the Heaven of Earth. Humans floating above the Earth are like the Earth floating within the Great Void.
The West of the Earth begins at Yin and ends at Chou. The East of Blood originates at Xin and is received at Yi. They follow each other without ceasing, except where Qian and Xun are vacant, as these are the Gates of Heaven and Earth.
Qixuanzi (Wang Bing) stated: Wu Earth belongs to Qian, Si Earth belongs to Xun. The Dun Jia states: Six Wus are the Heavenly Gate, Six Sis are the Earthly Door. This is what is meant.
The Classics state: Heaven and Earth are the upper and lower of all things; Left and Right are the pathways of Yin and Yang. Blood and Qi are the parents. Parents are Heaven and Earth. Blood and Qi circulate through the Twelve Meridians, encompassing the six trigrams within them, which are the Six Qi and Five Elements. The formless encompasses the formed, and Heaven encompasses Earth. Heaven moves leftward, and Qi follows westward; rivers advance eastward, and Blood follows eastward.
