Zhang Zhenren's Prayer for Progeny Method:
Su Laoquan said: I once went to Yuju Temple on the Double Ninth Day of the Gengwu year of Tian Sheng to consult Wu Aizi for divination. In the market, I saw a portrait with unique brushwork, said to be Zhang Xian (Zhang Immortal). Those lacking offspring who pray to him receive immediate response. I exchanged a jade ring for it. At that time, I had no children. I prayed daily with exposed incense. After four years of praying, Su Shi was born. Two years later, Su Zhe was born. Both loved books. I realized the Immortal's eagerness to help and Wu Aizi's words were true. Thus I record this for future seekers to respect. Su Xun of Yunmei Mountain respectfully records.

Immortal says: Only the God loves life, transformation spreads across the four seas. I, humble and lowly, struggle with lack of offspring. Respectfully following the legacy teaching, I gaze upon your revered face, looking up.
God's compassion bends to my foolish request. Respectfully following ritual etiquette, I use this to report the sacrifice. May you respond. If I obtain a son and sacrifice, change 'looking up' to 'relying on', 'bending to' to 'granting', and 'reporting sacrifice' to 'thanksgiving sacrifice'.
