金伤身损眼皮青，定主身亡难救命。若是气喘与咆噎，且在一七内中亡。人中昼满唇又
青，三日须知命必倾。神仙留下真秘诀，不说凡人不知音。
凡天柱骨折不治；凡两目损伤不治；凡口开气出不收不治；凡口如鱼口不治；凡伤食喉
；凡打破头鼻流黄白水不治；凡脊骨折断不治；凡心胞紧痛红色高肿不治；凡心口青色不治
；凡小腹阴阳不分不治；凡小腹伤吐粪不治；凡跌打大小腹痛不治；凡肾子伤入小腹不治；
凡孕妇伤犯胎不治；凡女人伤乳不治；凡男人两乳堂伤不治；凡腰伤自笑不治；凡两臂堕下
，尽力叫嚎，汗出如油者不治；凡人手骨出，一胫可治，两股齐出不可治。
凡脑受伤，使人轻轻扶正。皮未破，用二十号黑龙散；已破，用十四号桃花散填破口，
避风禁口自愈。
凡顶门受伤，用二十四号止血散，搽服俱用此药。
凡气喉受伤，令人扶头托凑，喉管不使出气，用银针连好，外用十八号贴膏，内服上部
凡眉甲骨出，用椅圈将软衣垫好，令伤人坐圈中，使一人捉定，以绢缚之，外用十八号
贴膏，内服上部药方。
凡肩脏骨折，必先使骨平正，用十八号贴膏，以油纸扎好，内服六号接骨丹。
凡金井骨在胁下，若损伤不宜夹缚，扶平用二十六号黑龙散。
凡两胁骨折，如金井骨治法。
凡肩臂脱出，令人抵住，以抱着手臂轻轻送入故位。内服六号接骨丹，外贴十八号膏。
凡人膝盖，乃另生者，跌少不治，跌破者用篾箍以带缚定，外用二十四号止血散。
凡伤破腹，大肠跌出，被风吹其肠干，不能收口。用麻油搽上，使肠润泽，用一人托肠
人默含冷水，喷泼伤人身上，其人必然一惊，托肠人即随惊送入。再用银针连好。先敷二十
四号止血散，后用十八号膏贴，伤破目难看见，用好酒一杯，今伤者饮下，即使人嗅伤，如
若有酒气，其肠已破，难已救治。
凡人骨跌出，内外折肉中，用二十号宝麻药一服。再将肉破开取膏，整换。用二十四号
止血散，十八号贴膏，外以笋箬包好，内服六号接骨丹。
凡打伤跌肿肉中之骨，不知碎而不碎，医人以手轻轻摸肿处，若有声者，其骨已破。先用二
十号宝麻药一服，然后割开，如血来不止，用二十四号止血丹。又用二十号宝麻药一服，再
取骨出。若骨碎甚，即以别骨填接，外贴十八号膏药，内服六号接骨丹。
凡平直处，跌打骨伤皮不破。先用二十号黑龙散敷好，再用板夹缚平正。如曲折之处，
只宜敷药，不宜挟缚，免愈后不能伸屈。
凡服跌打药，要忌冷水冷物，其药必要热服。
凡跌打伤重，必先用二十七号药水洗过，然后敷药，轻伤不必如此。
凡跌打血来不止，用二十五号桃花散，或二十四号止血丹。再不止，用三七、山羊血，
外用桃花散圈上。
凡骨未碎者，轻者，外用十八号贴膏，内服上中下三部之药。照伤何部，即用何部药方
凡山谷乡村无药铺之处，若遇跌打，暂用糯米水酒姜葱同捣包熨，不使血凝，内服老酒
，再治可也。
凡跌打药，宜瓷瓶收贮，不使出气。
凡人周身一百另八穴，小穴七十二处，大穴三十六处，打中小穴重亦无妨，打中大穴虽
轻亦死。今将三十六个大穴，道明受伤治法。
头顶心名为元宫穴，打中者二日死，轻者耳聋头眩，六十四日死。先用加减汤加羌活一
钱、苍耳子一钱五分，次用夺命丹二三服，再加药酒常服。
前胸名华盖穴，打中者人事不省，血迷心窍，三日而死。先用加减汤，加枳实一钱、良
姜一钱，次用七厘散二分，后用夺命丹二三服。
后背心名肺底穴，打中者两鼻出血，九日而死。先用加减汤，加百部八分、桑皮一钱，
次用七厘散二分，后用夺命丹二三服，再用紫金丹。
左乳上一寸三分，名上气穴。打中者发寒热，三十二日而死。先用加减汤，加沉香五分
桂一钱五分，次用七厘散二分，后用夺命丹二三服。左乳下一分，名中气穴，打中者十二日
而死。先用加减汤，加青皮一钱、乳香一钱，次用七厘散二分，后用夺命丹二三服。左乳下
一寸四分，名下气穴，打中者，七日而死。先用加减汤，加
用七厘散二分，后用夺命丹二三服。右乳上一寸三分，名上
。先用加减汤，加郁金一钱二分、沉香一钱，次用七厘散
分，名正血穴。打中者口中吐血，十八日死。先用加减
，次用七厘散二分，再用夺命丹一二服。右乳下一寸四
死。先用加减汤，加五灵脂一钱二分、蒲黄一钱（炒
黑），次用七厘散二分，再用夺命丹二三服。
心中名黑虎偷心穴，打中者立刻眼目昏花，人事不省，拳回气绝，速宜治之。先用加减
加官桂一钱，丁香六分，次用七厘散二分，再用夺命丹二三服，再用紫金丹三四服。心下一
分名霍肺穴，又下半分名肺底穴。打中者劈面一把即醒，然后用药。先用加减汤，加桂枝一
钱二分、贝母一钱，次用七厘散二分，再用夺命丹二三服，又服加减汤，后用紫金丹。心下
一寸三分，偏左一分，名翻肚穴，打中者七日而死。先用加减汤，加红花一钱五分、木香一
钱，次用七厘散二分，仍用加减汤二三服，再用夺命丹二三服，又用紫金丹三四服，或吊药
脐下一寸五分，名气海穴，打中者二十八日而死。先用加减汤，加杏仁一钱、玄胡索一
次用七厘散二分，再用夺命丹二三服。脐下三寸名丹田穴，打中者十九日而死。先用加减汤
，加木通一钱五分、三棱一钱五分，次用七厘散三分。脐下四寸五分，名分水穴。打中者二
便不通，十三日而死。先用加减汤，加三棱一钱五分、莪术一钱、生军三钱，次用七厘散二
分，再用紫金丹二三服。脐下六寸，名关元穴，打中者五日而死。先用加减汤，加车前子一
钱、青皮一钱，次用七厘散二三分，再用夺命丹二三服。
左边胁脐毛中名气海穴，打中者六个月而死。先用加减汤，加五加皮一钱、羌活一钱，次用
七厘散二三分，再用夺命丹三四服。右边胁脐毛中名血海门，打中者五个月死。先用加减汤
，加柴胡一钱二分、当归一钱，次用七厘散二分，再用夺命丹二三服，或用药酒常服。左边
胁梢软骨，名章门穴，打中者一百五十四日死。先用加减汤，加归尾一钱、苏木一钱，次用
紫金丹三四服。右边胁梢软骨，名地门穴，打中者六十日而死。先用加减汤，加丹皮一钱、
红花一钱五分，次用夺命丹二三服，仍服加减汤。下一分名血囊穴，打中者四十日而死。先
用加减汤，加蒲黄一钱、韭菜子一钱，次用夺命丹二三服，再服药酒。
两耳下半分空处，名听耳穴，打中者二十四日死。先用加减汤，加川芎一钱、细辛五分
用夺命丹一二服，再服药酒。
背心第七个节两边下一分，名石骨穴。打中者吐痰吐血，十个月而死。先用加减汤，加
一钱、骨碎补一钱，次服夺命丹三四服。下一寸一分名后气穴，打中者一季而死。先用加减
汤，加补骨脂一钱、乌药一钱，次用紫金丹三服，再用药酒。
两腰眼中左边名肾经穴，打中者三日大哭而死。先用加减汤，加桃仁一钱五分、红花一
次用夺命丹二三服。右边名命门穴，打中者即日而死。先用加减汤，加桃仁一钱五分、前胡
一钱，次用夺命丹三服。
尾梢尽下一分，名海底穴，打中者七日而死。先用加减汤，加生军一钱、朴硝一钱，
次用夺命丹二三服，再用紫金丹三四服。
两腿中同名鹤口穴，打中者一季而死。先用加减汤，加牛膝一钱、苡仁一钱，次用紫金
丹二三服。
左右脚底中同名涌泉穴，打中者十四个月死。先用加减汤，加牛膝一钱、宣木瓜一钱，
次用夺命丹二三服。
以上三十六大穴，指明受伤之法，然用药虽无大异，不过加减汤及七厘散、夺命紫金等
药。惟加减方中所加二味零药，不可错误，切宜紧记。
大凡人于既跌之后，或相打受伤之后，感冒经风发寒发热，头身皆痛，先用解肌汤，或
小柴胡汤治之，然后再服跌打之药。
Golden injury (injury caused by metal weapons) damages the body, with bluish-green eyelids, which definitely indicates death and is difficult to save. If there is panting and phlegm rattle in the throat, death will occur within seven days. If the Renzhong point (GV26) swells during the day and the lips are bluish-green, death will definitely occur within three days. This is the true secret left by immortals; those who are not told will not understand.
Any fracture of the Tianzhu bone (cervical spine) is incurable; any damage to both eyes is incurable; any case where the mouth is open and breath escapes without returning is incurable; any case where the mouth opens like a fish's mouth is incurable; any case where food blocks the throat due to injury is incurable; any case where the head is broken and yellow-white fluid flows out is incurable; any fracture or breakage of the spinal column is incurable; any case where the pericardium area is tight and painful with red high swelling is incurable; any case where the heart region shows bluish-green discoloration is incurable; any case where the lower abdomen has indistinct yin-yang boundaries is incurable; any case where feces are vomited due to abdominal injury is incurable; any abdominal pain caused by falls and blows is incurable; any testicular injury that sinks into the lower abdomen is incurable; any fetal damage caused by trauma to a pregnant woman is incurable; any breast injury in women is incurable; any bilateral nipple injury in men is incurable; any waist injury causing involuntary laughter is incurable; any case where arms hang down, screaming desperately, with sweat like oil is incurable; any hand bone dislocation is treatable if unilateral, but bilateral thigh dislocations are incurable.
For brain injuries, gently support the head in a correct position. If the skin is unbroken, use No. 20 Black Dragon Powder (Heilong San); if broken, fill the wound with No. 14 Peach Blossom Powder (Taohua San), avoid wind and fasting for self-healing.
For injuries to the top of the head (Dingmen), use No. 24 Hemostatic Powder (Zhixue San), apply externally and take internally.
For injuries to the trachea, have someone support the head and fix it so the airway does not release air, suture with silver needles, apply No. 18 Plaster externally, and take upper body formulas internally.
For eyebrow or orbital bone dislocations, pad a chair ring with soft cloth, have the injured sit in it, hold firmly, bind with silk, apply No. 18 Plaster externally, and take upper body formulas internally.
For scapular fractures, first align the bone, apply No. 18 Plaster, wrap with oiled paper, and take No. 6 Bone-Setting Pill (Jiegu Dan) internally.
For rib injuries below the armpit, do not splint; straighten and apply No. 26 Black Dragon Powder.
For bilateral rib fractures, treat as above.
For shoulder or arm dislocations, brace against resistance, hold the arm, and gently push back into place. Take No. 6 Bone-Setting Pill internally, apply No. 18 Plaster externally.
For knee injuries, which are considered separate bones, minor falls are not treated; if broken, bind with bamboo strips, apply No. 24 Hemostatic Powder externally.
For ruptured abdomen with eviscerated large intestine dried by wind: apply sesame oil to moisten the intestine, have one person support the intestine while another sprays cold water on the patient to induce a startle reflex, allowing immediate reduction. Suture with silver needles, apply No. 24 Hemostatic Powder, then No. 18 Plaster. If eye injury prevents vision, give a cup of good wine to drink, then let someone smell the wound; if alcohol scent is detected, the intestine is perforated and untreatable.
For bones protruding through muscle tears: take one dose of No. 20 Baoma Medicine, incise to replace paste, apply No. 24 Hemostatic Powder and No. 18 Plaster, wrap with bamboo leaves, and take No. 6 Bone-Setting Pill internally.
For swollen muscles with uncertain bone fragmentation: palpate gently; if crepitus is heard, the bone is broken. Take one dose of No. 20 Baoma Medicine, incise, stop bleeding with No. 24 Hemostatic Pill if necessary, take another dose of No. 20 Baoma Medicine, remove bone fragments. If severely fragmented, graft with other bones, apply No. 18 Plaster externally, and take No. 6 Bone-Setting Pill internally.
For flat-area blunt force trauma with intact skin: apply No. 20 Black Dragon Powder, splint with wood boards. For curved areas, only apply medicine, do not splint, to preserve flexibility.
When taking trauma medicines, avoid cold water and foods; medicines must be taken hot.
For severe trauma, wash with No. 27 Medicine Water before applying powder; mild cases need not.
For uncontrollable bleeding from trauma: use No. 25 Peach Blossom Powder or No. 24 Hemostatic Pill. If still bleeding, use Notoginseng Root (Sanqi) and Goat Blood, apply Peach Blossom Powder around the wound.
For non-comminuted fractures: apply No. 18 Plaster externally and take formulas corresponding to the affected region (upper, middle, or lower).
In rural areas without pharmacies: temporarily mash glutinous rice, water, wine, ginger, and scallions for poultice to prevent blood coagulation, drink aged wine, then treat formally.
Store trauma medicines in porcelain bottles to prevent gas escape.
The human body has 108 acupoints: 72 small and 36 major. Injury to small points is tolerable even if heavy; injury to major points can be fatal even if light. The following details treatment for the 36 major points.
Yuan Gong Point (top of head): Fatal in 2 days; mild cases cause deafness/dizziness, fatal in 64 days. Use Modified Decoction (Jianjia Tang) with Notopterygium Rhizome (Qianghuo) 1 qian and Xanthium Fruit (Cang'erzi) 1.5 qian, followed by Life-Snatching Pill (Duoming Dan) 2-3 doses, then medicinal wine.
Huagai Point (anterior chest): Causes unconsciousness and blood confusing the heart orifice, fatal in 3 days. Use Modified Decoction with Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi) 1 qian and Galangal Rhizome (Liangjiang) 1 qian, followed by Seven-Cent Powder (Qili San) 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Feidi Point (posterior back): Causes nasal bleeding, fatal in 9 days. Use Modified Decoction with Stemona Root (Baiibu) 8 fen and Mulberry Bark (Sangpi) 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, then Purple Gold Pill (Zijin Dan).
Shangqi Point (1.3 cun above left nipple): Causes chills/fever, fatal in 32 days. Use Modified Decoction with Agarwood (Chenxiang) 5 fen and Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi) 1.5 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Zhongqi Point (1 cun below left nipple): Fatal in 12 days. Use Modified Decoction with Green Tangerine Peel (Qingpi) 1 qian and Frankincense (Ruxiang) 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Xiaqi Point (1.4 cun below left nipple): Fatal in 7 days. Use Modified Decoction [text missing], Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Upper Right Nipple Area (1.3 cun above right nipple): Use Modified Decoction with Turmeric Tuber (Yujin) 1.2 qian and Agarwood 1 qian, followed by Qili San [text missing] fen.
Zhengxue Point: Causes hematemesis, fatal in 18 days. Use Modified [text missing], Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 1-2 doses.
Right Lower Nipple Area (1.4 cun below): Fatal [text missing]. Use Modified Decoction with Trogopterus Dung (Wulingzhi) 1.2 qian and Polygonum Knotweed Rhizome (Puhuang) 1 qian (stir-fried black), followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Heihu Touxin Point (center of heart): Causes immediate dizziness, unconsciousness, clenched fists, and cessation of breath; treat urgently. Use Modified [text missing] with Official Cinnamon (Guan Gui) 1 qian and Clove (Dingxiang) 6 fen, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, then Zijin Dan 3-4 doses.
Huofei Point (1 cun below heart) and Feidi Point (another 0.5 cun below): Slapping the face wakes the patient. Use Modified Decoction with Cinnamon Twig 1.2 qian and Fritillaria Bulb (Beimu) 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, then Modified Decoction again, finally Zijin Dan.
Fandu Point (1.3 cun below heart, 1 cun left): Fatal in 7 days. Use Modified Decoction with Safflower (Honghua) 1.5 qian and Aucklandia Root (Muxiang) 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, Modified Decoction 2-3 doses, Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, Zijin Dan 3-4 doses, or hanging medicine [text missing].
Qihai Point (1.5 cun below umbilicus): Fatal in 28 days. Use Modified Decoction with Apricot Seed (Xingren) 1 qian and Corydalis Rhizome (Yanhusuo) 1 [text missing], followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Dantian Point (3 cun below umbilicus): Fatal in 19 days. Use Modified Decoction with Akebia Stem (Mutong) 1.5 qian and Samolus Root (Sanleng) 1.5 qian, followed by Qili San 3 fen.
Fenshui Point (4.5 cun below umbilicus): Causes urinary/fecal retention, fatal in 13 days. Use Modified Decoction with Sanleng 1.5 qian and Curcuma Rhizome (Ezhu) 1 qian and Raw Rhubarb (Shengjun) 3 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Zijin Dan 2-3 doses.
Guanyuan Point (6 cun below umbilicus): Fatal in 5 days. Use Modified Decoction with Plantago Seed (Cheqianzi) 1 qian and Qingpi 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2-3 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Left Qihai Point (hairline between left hypochondrium and umbilicus): Fatal in 6 months. Use Modified Decoction with Acanthopanax Bark (Wujapi) 1 qian and Qianghuo 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2-3 fen, then Duoming Dan 3-4 doses.
Right Xuehai Gate (hairline between right hypochondrium and umbilicus): Fatal in 5 months. Use Modified Decoction with Bupleurum Root (Chaihu) 1.2 qian and Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui) 1 qian, followed by Qili San 2 fen, then Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, or medicinal wine.
Zhangmen Point (cartilage at left hypochondriac tip): Fatal in 154 days. Use Modified Decoction with Angelica Sinensis Tail (Guiwei) 1 qian and Sappan Wood (Sumu) 1 qian, followed by Zijin Dan 3-4 doses.
Dimen Point (cartilage at right hypochondriac tip): Fatal in 60 days. Use Modified Decoction with Moutan Cortex (Danpi) 1 qian and Honghua 1.5 qian, followed by Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, then Modified Decoction.
Xuenang Point (1 fen below Dimen): Fatal in 40 days. Use Modified Decoction with Puhuang 1 qian and Leek Seed (Jiucaizi) 1 qian, followed by Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, then medicinal wine.
Tinger Point (empty space below ears): Fatal in 24 days. Use Modified Decoction with Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong) 1 qian and Asarum Root (Xixin) 5 fen, followed by Duoming Dan 1-2 doses, then medicinal wine.
Shigu Point (1 fen below sides of 7th thoracic vertebra): Causes expectoration/hematemesis, fatal in 10 months. Use Modified Decoction with [text missing] 1 qian and Drynaria Rhizome (Gusuibu) 1 qian, followed by Duoming Dan 3-4 doses.
Houqi Point (1.1 cun below Shigu): Fatal in one season. Use Modified Decoction with Psoralea Fruit (Buguzhi) 1 qian and Lindera Root (Wuyao) 1 qian, followed by Zijin Dan 3 doses, then medicinal wine.
Shenjing Point (left lumbar spot): Fatal in 3 days with loud crying. Use Modified Decoction with Peach Kernel (Taoren) 1.5 qian and Honghua [text missing], followed by Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
Mingmen Point (right lumbar spot): Fatal on the same day. Use Modified Decoction with Taoren 1.5 qian and Peucedanum Root (Qianhu) 1 qian, followed by Duoming Dan 3 doses.
Haidi Point (1 fen below tailbone tip): Fatal in 7 days. Use Modified Decoction with Shengjun 1 qian and Mirabilite (Piaoxiao) 1 qian, followed by Duoming Dan 2-3 doses, then Zijin Dan 3-4 doses.
hekou Point (midpoint of both legs): Fatal in one season. Use Modified Decoction with Achyranthes Root (Niuxi) 1 qian and Coix Seed (Yiren) 1 qian, followed by Zijin Dan 2-3 doses.
Yongquan Point (midpoint of both soles): Fatal in 14 months. Use Modified Decoction with Niuxi 1 qian and Papaya (Xuan Mugua) 1 qian, followed by Duoming Dan 2-3 doses.
These 36 major points indicate injury methods. Medicines used are similar, mainly Modified Decoction, Qili San, Duoming Dan, and Zijin Dan. The two additional herbs in the Modified Decoction must not be mistaken; remember carefully.
Generally, after falling or fighting, if wind-cold causes chills, fever, and whole-body pain, first treat with Muscle-Releasing Decoction (Jieji Tang) or Minor Bupleurum Decoction (Xiao Chaihu Tang), then take trauma medicines.
