[Golden Liquid Pill and Qingzhou White Pill Formula]
Take equal parts of Jin Ye Dan (Golden Liquid Pill) and Qingzhou Bai Wan Zi (Qingzhou White Pills), grind them into fine powder, use wheat flour paste as a binder to make pills the size of millet seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, swallowed with rice water. Zhang Mi (courtesy name Jingzhi), Judicial Commissioner of Lin'an Prefecture, stated: "My child suffered from intestinal and abdominal disorders starting in May, which persisted until July, eventually developing into slow convulsion syndrome (Man Jing Hou). A single dose of this medicine, followed by a small amount of thin porridge to settle the stomach, resulted in recovery. After taking it six or seven more times, there were no further issues." (This formula is also recorded in Qian Yi's *Xiao'er Yao Zheng Zhi Jue*.)
[Formula Transmitted by Granduncle Zhu, Prefect of Linjiang]
Herbs: Chuan Lian Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Wu Yi Ren (Pruni Semen), Shen Qu (Medicated Leaven, stir-fried), Da Mai (Hordei Fructus Germinatus, stir-fried).
Grind the above four herbs into fine powder in equal proportions. Use pig bile as a binder to form pills the size of small mung beans. Take 30 pills per dose, increasing up to 50 pills, swallowed with warm water after meals. (This formula originated from the household of Prime Minister Li Wending. When Zhu Zai served as magistrate of Changning County, a girl became extremely yellow and emaciated due to lack of breast milk. Sun Weihao, grandson of the Prime Minister, transmitted this formula during a visit, claiming his family had acquired it and that pediatricians never sought it out. The girl took this medicine and expelled over ten thousand threadworms within ten days, becoming progressively robust thereafter. It should only be administered when the child is old enough to take medication. Meng Zhengyun noted: The entire Qin Prime Minister's household used this formula, adding only one additional herb, Luobo Zi (Raphani Semen).)
