Zi day: Ren Shen is at the ankle; Chou day: at the waist; Yin day: at the eye; Mao day: at the face; Chen day: at the head; Si day: belongs to the Sanjiao (Triple Burner); Wu day: at the chest; Wei day: at the abdomen; Shen day: at the Heart; You day: at the back; Xu day: at the head; Hai day: continues at the thigh.
On Zi days, moxibustion on the head is contraindicated; physicians must recognize this. On Chou days, it corresponds to the waist and ears; on Yin days, to the chest. On Mao days, to the nose and Spleen; on Chen days, to the knees and waist; on Si days, to the hands; on Wu days, to the Heart, requiring swift treatment. On Wei days, it involves the head, hands, and feet; on Shen days, the head and back; on You days, walking-related knees and back are of the same category. On Xu days, it is between the yin region, head, and face; on Hai days, it wanders through the head and neck positions. This is the song regarding the twelve Earthly Branches' Ren Shen contraindications for moxibustion; males should exclude taboos and females break them, which should be understood.

Wu and Ji days: abdomen and Spleen; Geng day: waist; Xin day: Lungs; Ren day: knees; Gui day: Kidneys and shins conclude. On Gui days, acupuncture and moxibustion on the hands and feet are unsuitable; if the Ten Heavenly Stems are not violated, there will be no worries.
This was established by Shennong. The first year starts from Kun Palace, the second year from Zhen Palace, flying sequentially through the Nine Palaces year by year, cycling endlessly. Wherever the traveling year arrives, that area's vital energy is considered depleted; acupuncture and moxibustion are strictly prohibited. Do not violate this, otherwise other diseases may arise. Be cautious!
The location of the Sacrum Spirit has its roots and origins. Kun palace corresponds to the medial and lateral malleoli, left by the sages. Zhen palace concerns the teeth and mouth, which should be remembered; Xun position resides at the nipple opening; Zhong Gong (Central Palace) connects the shoulder bone to the sacral bone; the back and eyes flow from the upstream of Qian Palace. The arm corresponds to Dui Palace, where stone therapy and moxibustion are difficult; Gen Palace concerns the waist and crown, which must also cease. Li palace concerns the knees, ribs, and hypochondrium, where needle insertion is difficult; Kan palace connects the elbow, seeking sources in the abdomen and feet. If physicians master the secrets of the Sacrum Spirit, ten thousand diseases will not interfere with the anxiety of contraindications. The above taboos are primarily based on the daily location of the Ren Shen. In cases of emergency illness, other restrictions need not be observed.
