For tuberculosis cough, avoid sexual intercourse and rich/greasy food; violators die. After cold damage (Shanghan), avoid meat and sexual intercourse; violators cannot be saved. After edema, avoid salt and oil. For spleen and stomach injuries, regulate diet. After slippery diarrhea, avoid greasy food; these several prohibitions must absolutely not be lightly violated. If garlic is eaten shortly after recovery from acute disease, the illness will flare up causing great distress. If dog or mutton is eaten shortly after recovery from acute disease, bone-steaming fever will occur. If raw dates and mutton are eaten shortly after recovery from acute disease, heat steaming in the diaphragm area will occur. If raw vegetables are eaten shortly after recovery from acute disease, complexion will never recover permanently. If alcohol and leeks are consumed shortly after recovery from illness, the disease will definitely recur.
