Additionally, for treating urinary retention where other medicines fail, or due to "Zhuan Bao" (bladder torsion/compression) leading to near-death states, this method can be used to naturally expel urine.
Take one pig bladder, make a small hole at the bottom, insert a goose feather tube through it into the hole, and secure the root of the tube tightly with fine thread. Block the mouth of the tube with a thin stick, and seal the mouth of the bladder with yellow wax. Blow air into the bladder until it is seven-tenths full, tie it securely. Hold the root of the feather tube firmly, place the wax-sealed end properly. Insert the feather tube into the urethral opening, release the hand holding the root of the tube, allowing the air to penetrate inside, and urine will naturally flow out. This has great efficacy.
Moxibustion method for dysuria and strangury: Stir-fry salt until hot, fill the patient's umbilicus (Shenque CV-8) completely. Then use moxa cones the size of a chopstick tip to moxibustate 7 doses (zhuang). This is effective. Alternatively, moxibustate Sanyinjiao SP-6.
Another method: For scanty and obstructed urination, cover the genital area with a pig gallbladder containing its juice for a short time; once the juice enters, urination occurs naturally. For women, store medicinal powder in a bag and insert it into the vagina; patency will surely be achieved.
