There is a proverb stating that "the young do not suffer from wind-stroke, and the old do not suffer from consumption." Therefore, people after middle age often experience symptoms such as laborious coughing, hemoptysis, and blood in sputum, yet they are unwilling to admit that they are suffering from *Qie Zheng* (Weakness Syndrome / Consumption). This is because their *Xiang Huo* (Ministerial Fire) tends to decline, their desire for lust has already faded, their temperament has become dull, and their anger is rarely aroused. If these two aspects (lust and anger) are not guarded against, the time of death will be hastened. As for treatment methods, they remain the same.
