Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Sheng Dihuang, 生地黄) is pounded into powder within a stone vessel. Each dose consists of two qian (approx. 6-7.5g), taken before meals with hot wine. Administer continuously for two doses.
Treats retained dead fetus in the uterus that cannot be expelled.
Cinnabar (Sha, 砂) (finely ground) Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归) (each one liang, approx. 30-37.5g).
The above two ingredients: grind Angelicae Sinensis Radix extremely finely separately; grind Cinnabar into fine powder. Divide into two doses. Take with warm wine at any time. If the condition is severe, walk five li (approx. 2.5 km) before taking the medicine.
Treats infants with disharmony of Yin and Yang, weakness of the Zang-Fu organs, indigestion of milk and food, distension and fullness of the heart and abdomen, vomiting, rebellious Qi, and rapid breathing, or frequent borborygmus and diarrhea accompanied by cold pain in the abdomen.
Brassicae Semen (Luobozhongzi, 萝卜子) (two liang, lightly stir-fried) Tangerine Peel (Chenpi, 陈皮) (peeled, one liang) Green Tangerine Peel (Qingpi, 青皮) (peeled, one liang) Black Morning Glory Seed (Hei Qiannanzi, 黑牵牛) (one and a half liang, half used raw, protected from fire).
Pound the above into fine powder. Use water-boiled wheat flour paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds (Wutongzi, 梧桐子). Each dose is 20-30 pills. Take on an empty stomach, delivered with decoction of Brassicae Semen or Ginger Decoction.
Treats infants with clearing the upper and solidifying the lower, tonifying the Spleen and treating Phlegm. (From the formula of Chen Wenzhong.)

Except for Nutmeg (Roudoukou, 肉豆蔻), the above seven ingredients are ground together into fine powder. Then add Nutmeg and grind again until extremely fine. Mix with drink to form pills, size of millet grains. Suitable for infants.
Treats Gangrenous Gingivitis (Zouma Yagan, 走马牙疳), which is difficult to cure.
Lead Monoxide (Huandan, 黄丹) (sublimed/processed) Alum (Baifan, 白矾) (sublimed/processed) Green Rock Salt (Qingyan, 青盐) (sublimed/processed) Caocjin (Grass Brocade, likely a specific herb ash) (burned to ash) Musk (Shexiang, 麝香) (a small amount).
Mix equal parts of the above into an extremely fine powder. First, wash the affected area clean with warm saline solution. Dry with unsized cloth and apply the powder.
Treats infant oral thrush/mouth sores where the child cannot suckle.
Croton Seed (Jiangzi, 江子) (one or two seeds).
Pound until mushy, without removing the oil. Add a small amount of Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂) or Lead Monoxide (Huandan, 黄丹) and Red Earth (Chitu, 赤土).
