The above ingredients are ground into a fine powder. Take 200 Jinyingzi (Rosa laevigata fruits), remove hairs and seeds, pound them thoroughly in a wooden mortar, add 7 sheng of water, decoct to obtain 1 sheng of concentrated juice, strain off the dregs, and mix with the medicine to form pills.
Moxibustion is applied at the slightly pointed tip of the third short rib counting from below, for 14 moxa cones (2x7 zhuang); males use the left side, females use the right side. Additionally, moxibustion is applied at the point located in the depression of the third spinal groove counting down from the back of the neck.
