Treating malignant sores, carbuncles and abscesses with swelling and boils, back carbuncles (Fabei), scrofula (Luoli), stabbing pain caused by cold-dampness and cold qi, skin numbness and hardness, hand swelling, lumbar bone injury from falls and blows, and blood and qi stagnation from sprains.
Huangdan (Lithargyri Folium, five jin, processed by water flotation), Ruxiang (Olibanum, two liang), Moyao (Myrrha, two liang), Mubiezi (Semen Strychni, one liang), Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, one liang), Baiji (Bulbus Bletillae Striatae, one liang), [Text missing/error], Liuzhi (Ramulus Salicis, one...).
Except for Ruxiang, Moyao, Xuexue (Dragon's Blood), and Huangdan, the remaining herbs are soaked in oil for three days, then boiled in a pot over charcoal fire until yellow. Filter out the dregs.
Only... Suitable for preparation in the third and seventh lunar months.
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, raw), Qingfen (Calomelas, raw), Haipiaoxiao (Endoconcha Sepiae, raw), Shaofen (Kaolin, ...), Hafen (Talcum, raw), Ganlanhe (Nucleus Canarii, burnt to ash), Huangbapi (Cortex Phellodendri).
Grind all into an extremely fine powder. Apply dry to the lesion for immediate effect.
Baifan (Alumen, calcined), Qingfen (Calomelas), Shexiang (Moschus), Qicao (Larva Blapsae, live larvae pressed to remove urine, dried).
Grind into a fine powder. Apply to the sore, three to four times daily. First rinse the area with fermented grain wash, dry it, then apply the medicine.

Grind into a fine powder. Mix with Nongpouyou (Oil of Magnolia Bark) and apply.
Huangbo (Cortex Phellodendri, four liang, high quality, remove coarse bark), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, three liang, remove roots, clean, chop), Huangkuihua (Flos Hibisci Mutabilis, three liang, dried), Jiangzhenxiang (Lignum Dalbergiae Odoriferae, ... liang), Wuzeigu (Os Sepiae, three liang, these two ground together into powder, added as needed), Zhenlonggu (Os Draconis, one liang, ground separately in a mortar and added), Mituosen (Lithargyri, one liang, finely ground), Zhenxuexue (Sanguis Draconis, one liang), Shexiang (Moschus, two qian, added as needed), Qingfen (Calomelas, one qian), Shaofen (Kaolin, one liang), Dilu (Milk Resin, two qian, ground separately, then finely ground again in a mortar with Huangdan), Huangdan (Lithargyri Folium, three liang, water-floted and ground).
Mix all ingredients evenly. Wrap tightly in good paper to prevent air exposure. Wait three days before use. It is best if ground very finely. Whenever encountering metal wounds... use saliva... to remove blood.
