Mu Xiang (Costi Radix), Suo Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus, 3 qian), Bai Long Gu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi, 0.5 liang), He Zi Rou (Terminaliae Chebulae Fructus, 0.5 liang), Chi Shi Zhi (Halloysit Rubrum, 0.75 liang), Ku Bai Fan (Alumen Ustums, 0.75 liang).
The above ingredients are ground into a fine powder and formed into pills using thick wheat paste, with the size of millet seeds. For one-year-old infants, administer 30 to 50 pills per dose; for three-year-old children, administer 100 pills per dose. Take with warm rice water.
Formula for treating variola (smallpox/variolous eruptions), indicated for fever and irritability with thirst due to variolous eruptions.
Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 1 liang, heart removed), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix, radix removed), Gan Cao (Licorice Root, honey-fried), Chen Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Hou Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, ginger-processed, each 0.5 liang).
